EMPOWERED MINDS! STRENGTHEN VOICES!

Under the leadership of our School Principal Ma'am Ma. Lourdes A. Batuto, the 2-Day Gender and Development (GAD) Seminar-Training of Naval Night High School has successfully concluded, equipping our Teaching and Non-Teaching personnel with deeper awareness and a shared commitment to fostering gender equality and inclusivity in the school community.

🗣️ Our 1st day of Seminar-Training held in our school started with speakers who have set the bar high with meaningful insights and empowering perspectives, to wit:

✅ 1st Speaker: Dr. Marianne B. Dagaylo-an, BIPSU GAD Director
Topic: Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Expression and Sexual Characteristics (SOGIESC)

✅ 2nd Speaker: Atty. Dick Guiller Delfin, BIPSU Legal Officer
Topic: Gender Equality in the Philippine Context: Laws, Policies and Programs

As part of the school’s Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) initiative, Project STAR, which aims to save SARDO (Students At Risk of Dropping Out), through the leadership of School Principal Malou Apostol Batuto, Grade 10 Class Adviser Jasmin P. Salut and NNiHS ADM Coordinator Jorge Don A. Fabon, conducted a home visitation to ascertain the underlying reasons for the student's discontinuation of attendance in school.

The visit resulted in a positive response from the student concern, and with her parent's support, the student agreed to return to school to continue her studies.

"SWIFT ACTION, LEADERSHIP IN MOTION"

Our heartfelt gratitude to ever visionary and active Governor Rogelio J. Espina who has taken immediate action to address the pressing needs of Naval Night High School.

Just days after the Governor visited our school, he immediately deployed task force to assess our school and ordered for the fast-tracking of various priority projects including the installation of Solar Panels, Installation of New Water System, Construction of Caregiving Assessment Center, Proposed Lot Size for New School Building, etc.

Thank you so much Governor, your swift response and action demonstrates not only political will but a genuine concern for the welfare of both teachers and learners.

Such a momentous day as Naval Night High School together with its stakeholders gathered for the first flag-raising ceremony of the School Year 2025-2026 on June 16 at 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon.

As the Philippine flag soared high and as we placed our right hand to our chest, we reaffirmed our commitment and dedication to education, reminding us also that every new beginning is an opportunity to strive for greatness together.

Our sincerest gratitude to our stakeholders from Barangay Caraycaray Council / Caraycaray Naval SK Chairman Hon.Vernie Symonn Curso Roa, PNP, BJMP and Coast Guard personnel for passionately responding to our invitation.
