This international day of happiness is when we celebrate joy and recognize that our well-being is essential to ensuring it prospers. This day is a reminder that happiness is more than just the joy we see in others' faces and in our own reflections. Happiness is built on the foundation of feelings of safety and respect; in our bodies, as well as in our minds. ๐ง
In celebrating happiness, we consider it within. How we feel and think determines whether we can overcome the challenges we encounter. Simply put, our ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต is strongly connected to our happiness. Good mental health provides us with the tools to manage stress and sadness, and helps us connect with others. So don't hesitate, reach out when you are struggling and ask for help. Reaching out is a powerful act of care for yourself, for the people around you. ๐ค
To truly spread joy, our community must be inclusive so that ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ can take place. We need to make space for discussions that are often left out, such as talks about our bodies and sexual wellness. Recognizing our bodies and respecting our boundaries are fundamental to our happiness. ๐ฌ
Happiness also exists in the quiet moments. In the moments wherein we pause and reflect, joy is also prevalent. Let's take in the calmness of our surroundings, as we let the sights of nature around the campus clear our minds. Even a few minutes of quiet reflection will surely reset your perspective, focusing on joy and peace. ๐ณ
