Strengthening a culture of inquiry and innovation!

On July 14, 2026, Elizabeth Seton School faculty and staff attended a seminar on “Strengthening Setonian Research Culture” focused on empowering educators with valuable insights on research and academic excellence. The session featured inspiring talks from Dr. Maricar Sison Prudente of De La Salle University, Manila and Dr. Socorro Aguja of De La Salle Araneta University. The two notable speakers encouraged participants to engage in meaningful research to enhance teaching and learning.

Learning Through Play, Growing with Purpose! 💚💛

Primary teachers from the Elizabeth Seton School Las Piñas and South Campuses gathered on July 9, 2026, for the “Learn, Play, Grow” Workshop, facilitated by renowned early childhood educators Teacher Maricar de Ocampo and Teacher Feih Intia.

The workshop highlighted the vital role of play in helping young children learn, explore, and grow. Through hands-on activities using loose parts and everyday materials, teachers experienced how play encourages creativity, problem-solving, imagination, collaboration, and meaningful learning.

Participants also explored internationally recognized early childhood education approaches, including Reggio Emilia, HEI School, and Bank Street, gaining fresh insights into how to create engaging, child-centered learning experiences that respond to the needs of today’s Generation Alpha learners and their families.

The day concluded with a reflection on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), as teachers reaffirmed their commitment to nurturing children who are empathetic, confident, kind, responsible, spiritually grounded, and holistically developed.
