MAGNITUDE 4.5 EARTHQUAKE

What was once practiced during our earthquake drills became a real-life test of preparedness.

We commend the students of Bokod National High School for remaining calm, alert, and disciplined during the recent earthquake. By remembering and applying the safety procedures they learned in their drills, they demonstrated that preparedness truly saves lives.

This experience reminds us that earthquake drills are not just school activities—they are essential lessons that equip us to respond wisely in times of emergencies.

Bokod National High School headed by Principal Arnold L. Manio Arnold Manio recently welcomed 𝑪𝑰𝑫 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒇 𝑨𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏 𝑴. 𝑫𝒐𝒃𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝑺𝑫𝑺 𝑳𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑻. 𝑼𝒍𝒆𝒑 for the conduct of Oplan Balik Eskwela Based Evaluation (OBE) and the provision of Technical Assistance (TA) to the school personnel.

The visit focused on assessing the school’s current practices, programs, and overall performance, while providing guidance and technical support to strengthen school operations and instructional delivery.

The activity offered valuable insights and recommendations to further improve the implementation of educational programs and promote effective school management.

📢 Building a Resilient Bokod National High School
Today, Bokod National High School actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). This initiative was conducted to strengthen the preparedness and enhance the emergency response capabilities of our learners, teachers, and school personnel.

By practicing the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" protocol and familiarizing ourselves with our designated evacuation routes, we are taking essential steps to ensure that every member of our community knows how to act decisively during a seismic event.
