School-Based Basic Life Support (BLS) Training

Miguel Palispis Integrated School successfully conducted a School-Based Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for its selected Junior High School participants on July 30โ€“31, 2026. Held after class from 3:15 PM to 5:00 PM, the training provided students with essential life-saving knowledge and hands-on emergency response skills that they can use in both emergencies and everyday life.

MPIS extends its sincere gratitude to the Barangay Officials led by Brgy. Captain Beauregard Arthur Palispis Jr., Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Tanods, and PNP Tuba for visiting our school and conducting an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign in celebration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT).

The activity aimed to raise awareness among students and teachers about the harmful effects of illegal drugs and to encourage them to actively participate in the collective effort to combat drug abuse and promote a drug-free community. Informative and educational materials were distributed to further strengthen awareness and support the governmentโ€™s anti-drug advocacy.

In compliance with the national directive for disaster preparedness, Miguel Palispis Integrated School successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) today, June 18, 2026.

The simulated exercise was successfully participated in by at least 150 learners and 16 school personnel, which aimed to strengthen earthquake awareness and emergency response capabilities among students and school personnel.
