𝙒𝙊𝙍𝘿𝙎 𝙁𝙍𝙊𝙈 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙏𝙃 | 𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙍𝙉𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝘼𝙇 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙏𝙃 𝘿𝘼𝙔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 💙✨

Being part of the 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 was a reminder of how beautiful it is to simply be young. In between the conversations, laughter, new friendships, and little moments shared throughout the day, there was also a chance to hear different stories and thoughts from fellow young people.

Listening to their words made the celebration feel more personal. Each statement carried a different experience, but somehow, there was something familiar in all of them: the desire to 𝙗𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙙, 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙙, 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙮, and to make memories while we can.

The 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙖𝙮 celebration left behind more than just memories of the event. It left reminders of why 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧, why experiences are worth sharing, and why these moments of simply being young are worth holding onto. 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩: 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜. 𝙆𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚. 💙✨

Take a sneak peek into our experience at the 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 at 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒍 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚! 📸

From meaningful discussions and engaging activities to meeting fellow 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔 from different places, the celebration gave us an opportunity to 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏, 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒆 our experiences as young people. Every conversation and activity reminded us that 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒗𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 and that we have an important role in creating positive change in our communities.

It was more than just a celebration—it was a space to 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔, 𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔, 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔, and be inspired by the passion and dedication of fellow youth advocates.

From one barangay to another, our Child Speakers brought more than just introductions. They shared stories, connected with children, and opened conversations about what it means to have a voice and be part of the BCCLC. 🌟👦👧

A new milestone in building connections beyond borders! ✨

The 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 had the opportunity to meet with our 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 🇦🇺, marking a meaningful beginning to an international partnership dedicated to creating opportunities and positive experiences for children and young people. 💜

More than just a meeting, this was the beginning of a connection that reaches beyond borders. It opened an opportunity for us to 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 rooted in a shared commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for children and youth. 🌏🤝✨

𝗔 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴? 👀
𝐵𝑒𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑙𝑒𝑑, 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑘𝑒. 🎤💜

A little throwback to our 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝟑.𝟎, held in celebration of 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 with the theme “𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀!”

Then a 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫, 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗡𝗲𝗽𝗮 stood before fellow young people and shared her voice in a space created for children to speak, be heard, and take part in conversations that matter.

Months later, that same voice now carries a new responsibility as the 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 of the 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹.

And perhaps that is what makes this moment worth remembering. The child who once stood before the council with something to say is now the one standing at its helm, carrying not just her own voice, but a place for other children to find theirs.

For the children watching from the audience, may this be proof that the seat at the front does not always belong to someone who has already arrived. Sometimes, it belongs to the child who first dared to raise a hand, take the microphone, and speak.

There was a time when 1K followers was just something we hoped to reach someday. A little milestone we once looked at from afar and thought,
