Verdu Elementary School

In celebration of Nutrition Month 2025, our school proudly joins the nationwide campaign to promote food and nutrition security as a fundamental human right. Guided by the theme “Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of proper nutrition, balanced diets, and access to safe and sufficient food for all.

This month-long celebration will serve as a platform to educate students, parents, and the community on the value of healthy eating habits and the role of nutrition in achieving overall well-being. Through interactive activities such as poster-making contests, slogan, cooking contest, table display, and nutrition talk. We hope to empower individuals to make informed food choices and become advocates of nutrition in their homes and communities.

By participating in Nutrition Month 2025, we commit to supporting the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition and contributing to a healthier, more nourished society. Together, let us prioritize nutrition and uphold every Filipino’s right to adequate and nutritious food.
