Ngayong araw, ating ginugunita si 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗶, ang 𝘋𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘰 at 𝘜𝘵𝘢𝘬 𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘯.

Hindi man siya nakibaka sa larangan ng digmaan, naging mahalaga ang kanyang papel sa pagtatatag ng pamahalaan ng Unang Republika ng Pilipinas. Sa pamamagitan ng kanyang 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙤, mga 𝙖𝙠𝙙𝙖, at mga 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙥𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙖𝙣, nakatulong siya sa paghubog ng direksyon ng bansa sa panahon ng pakikibaka para sa kalayaan.

Siya'y naging simbolo ng 𝙠𝙖𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣, 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙙, at 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙠𝙤𝙙 𝙨𝙖 𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣, patunay na ang tunay na lakas ay hindi nasusukat sa pisikal na kakayahan kundi sa kakayahang maglingkod at magbigay ng gabay para sa ikabubuti ng sambayanan.

Sa gitna ng mga hamon na kinakaharap ng ating bansa; 𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙣, 𝙠𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙣, at mga 𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙣, nawa'y manatiling buhay ang diwa ng pagkamakabayan na isinulong ni Mabini.

Among the 2,150 freshmen and transferees, the newest members of the 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙨 — 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 (𝘼𝙎𝙎𝙀𝙏𝙎) participated in the Freshmen and Transfer Students' Orientation for Academic Year 2026-2027.

During the orientation, students familiarized themselves with the university's policies, student services, and academic guidelines. The program provided a strong foundation by equipping them with the knowledge, resources, and support networks needed to navigate college life with confidence.

The orientation also served as an opportunity for each department to welcome its new students, fostering camaraderie, strengthening their sense of belonging, and aligning them with the university's vision and values. It marked the beginning of a supportive academic community where freshmen and transferees can thrive both academically and socially.

More than simply introducing rules and regulations, the orientation served as the official launchpad for these new members as they embark on their journey toward becoming true ASSETS of the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) community—ready to grow, lead, and leave a meaningful and lasting mark.

Today, July 20, 2026, the College of Teacher Education – Bayombong Campus marked a significant milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony for Phase 1 of the Three-Storey Academic Building Project.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙨 – 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 (𝘼𝙎𝙎𝙀𝙏𝙎) proudly joined the celebration, represented by its President, 𝙈𝙧. 𝘿𝙚𝙣𝙢𝙖𝙧 𝙏. 𝙂𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙣𝙤, in showing support for this momentous occasion.

More than the start of a new infrastructure project, the ceremony symbolizes the University's enduring commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of future educators.

The renewal process was led by the newly elected ASSETS 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗧. 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗰𝗲 𝗗. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗻 together with the dedicated officers of the organization. Their collective effort demonstrates the organization's readiness to continue its mission of empowering future educators, fostering academic growth, and strengthening community engagement.

This initiative reflects ASSETS' dedication to responsible leadership, organizational sustainability, academic excellence, and active student participation. By securing its renewal, the organization reinforces its commitment to creating opportunities that nurture learning, collaboration, service, and social responsibility among future Social Studies educators.

𝗡𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗮 (1918–2013), affectionately known as 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗮, was a South African leader who dedicated his life to fighting apartheid and promoting equality, justice, and human rights. Despite spending 27 years in prison for his beliefs, he never gave up on his vision of a free and democratic South Africa.

After his release in 1990, Mandela played a key role in ending apartheid and peacefully uniting a divided nation. In 1994, he became South Africa's first democratically elected Black president, and in 1993, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts toward reconciliation and democracy.

Today, Mandela remains an inspiration to millions around the world—a reminder that courage, perseverance, and forgiveness can change the course of history. ✨

Composed of students from different year levels 𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐒-𝟏𝐃, 𝟐𝐃, 𝟑𝐃, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟒𝐃,ASSETS stands on equal ground where no one is left behind and where unity and collaboration thrive.

This gathering served as a powerful testament to the growing ASSETS community and marked the beginning of its collective journey toward greater milestones. As an association of future educators, historians, and public servants, ASSETS not only studies history—it actively contributes to shaping it.

In preparation for the official opening of classes on Monday, the student officers of the Association of Social Science Enthusiasts – Teachers and Students (ASSETS) actively participated in the clean-up drive held today at the premises of the College of Teacher Education (CTE).

With a shared commitment to creating a positive learning environment, the ASSETS officers worked hand in hand to ensure that the campus remains clean, safe, and welcoming for students, faculty, and visitors alike.

This initiative, spearheaded by the CTE Student Council, reflects the spirit of volunteerism, teamwork, and servant leadership among future educators. More than preparing the campus for the new academic year, this activity demonstrates ASSETS' commitment to promoting environmental responsibility and community participation—values that support Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 13: Climate Action, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Fourth-year members of the 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑬𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒔 — 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 (𝑨𝑺𝑺𝑬𝑻𝑺) celebrates a remarkable milestone as they officially graduate and bring pride to the organization through their academic excellence and dedication.

Among the 41 official Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Social Studies candidates for graduation, 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗟. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗮, 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗕. 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗼, 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗕. 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘇, 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗟𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗱 𝗡. These achievements stands as a testament to the organization’s commitment to developing competent leaders, dedicated future educators, and individuals who continuously strive for excellence in both academics and service.
