Saint Mary’s University regained its autonomous status for three years from Sept. 16, 2024 to Sept. 15, 2027.

In CMO No. 7 series of 2024 released on Sept. 23, 2024, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) identified SMU as one of the 77 private higher education institutions in the Philippines that met the criteria for an autonomous status covering the performance and achievement of the institutions from July 1, 2019 to Sept. 15, 2023. SMU is one of the only two HEIs in Region 2 given the present distinction.

𝙱𝚊𝚌𝚔 𝚝𝚘 𝚂𝚌𝚑𝚘𝚘𝚕: 𝚂𝚝𝚎𝚙 𝚘𝚗𝚎 ?!

Clearance alongside Academic Advising for the Department of Psychology, Human Services & Social Work kicked off on the 30th of July, 2024. 3rd year and 4th year students were scheduled for Advising in the morning while 2nd year students were scheduled for the afternoon✨

The officers of The Marian Psychological Society assisted the students in the first steps of the Academic Advising process whilst The Department Head, Ms. Kristine Ann Israel met with 73 students individually in order to provide assistance with concerns on campus life, advice in terms of academics, and hear out the thoughts of the students in the department.

Academic Advising for the Department of Psychology, Human Services, and Social Work will resume on August 5, 2024💚
