Despite having only a few rehearsals and limited time to prepare, we still managed to pull it off! Nagkaroon ng maraming pagbabago ng ideas, tawanan, at paulit ulit na “huiiii, todo niyo pa acting niyo dapat oa!”—finally, natapos din natin. 😭

Hindi naging madali yung preparation. May mga araw na pagod na talaga, may nakakalimot ng lines, may biglang nawawala sa cue, may mga eksenang ilang beses inuulit kasi “hindi pa okay,” at syempre, hindi mawawala yung tawanan kahit dapat seryoso na. HAHAHA.

We were already thinking na “Basta mairaos lang natin tong drama, okay na. Kahit hindi na manalo, sa sayaw na lang tayo babawi.” 😭 na para bang survival mode na ang siargao at ang goal na lang ay matapos nang maayos at maibigay yung best namin.

Pero plot twist…

After all the pressure, kaba, rehearsals and last-minute adjustments we ended up getting an almost perfect score sa drama—and eventually, nanalo rin sa sayaw. 🏆🎭💃🏻

From thinking na “okay lang kahit hindi manalo” to actually winning both🥇🫶🏻. All those moments na akala namin puro pagod lang, naging worth it pala.

Hindi man naging perfect ang journey, but somehow, it led us to a result better than what we expected.

Proud of everyone who gave their time, effort, and heart to make both performances happen.

FROM “PRACTICE NA NAMAN TO “CHAMPION NA PALA!” 🏆💃🕺✨

Akala namin simpleng Folk Dance lang… bakit parang naging full-time job?! 😭😂

Sulit ang bawat after-class practice(bawala kasi magpractice sa bahay bahay or saan man kaya 3:30 minsan ay 4:00 kami nauwi, lunch break, at bawat oras na ibinigay ng ating teachers para makapag-ensayo. Kahit minsan pagod, gutom, at gusto na lang umuwi, practice muna bago pahinga! 😂💪

Sa dami ng assignments, quizzes, projects, activities, at deadlines, hindi naging madali ang pagsabayin ang academics at practice. Pero dahil sa teamwork, dedication, at determination, kinaya natin!

Maraming pawis, tawanan, maling steps, “Anong count na?!” 😂 at walang katapusang “ULIT! Hindi sabay sabay “ o kaya nman ay ang linyahan ng adviser namin na “FROM THE TOP” pero lahat ng iyon ay naging worth it.

At ngayon, masasabi na natin:
WE DIDN’T JUST DANCE…
WE DANCED OUR WAY TO THE VICTORY! 🏆🔥

Proof na kahit maraming gawain sa school, kapag may commitment at sama-samang effort, kayang-kaya!
