Tambayayong is a VSU tradition where senior students from different organizations come together to welcome incoming students and help them navigate their first days in the university.

From answering questions and giving directions to different departments and campus areas, to accompanying students to their dormitories and helping carry their belongings, seniors are there to make the transition into university life a little easier.

It may look like a simple act of assistance, but for a student stepping onto campus for the first time, having someone say “We can help you” can mean a lot.💙🍀

𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗬, we have allocated resources for the FHSS × ABELSS × TSS volunteers, including food, snacks, and transportation/fuel expenses throughout the activity. These provisions were prepared to support our volunteers as they dedicated their time and effort to serving incoming students.

As we prepare to welcome both new and returning students to campus, preparation is everything. 💙

Before heading to campus, give your bag a quick check! Make sure you have your 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑰𝑫, 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒕, 𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒆, 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒓/𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒌, 𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒔, 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒔, 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆, 𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒉𝒚𝒈𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒆 𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒔.

For longer days, pack some 𝒔𝒏𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒔, 𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒓𝒂 𝒄𝒂𝒔𝒉, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒔 you might need for your classes.

Pro tip: Check your schedule the night before so you only bring what you actually need. Less weight, less hassle, more room for yearning/learning.
