Yesterday, May 28, 2026, the interview and teaching demonstration for the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 under the SEA Teacher Program was successfully conducted at the VSU Laboratory High School Math & Science Building, Room 6 (Physics Room).

The selected applicants showcased their professionalism, competence, subject mastery, and teaching skills as they pursued the opportunity to represent the institution in an international teaching environment. The activity was observed and evaluated by the SEA Teacher Screening Committee.

Please note that not all applicants advanced to the interview stage, as all submitted applications and requirements first underwent careful evaluation by the department screening committee.

Today, the 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 successfully conducted an 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 at 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻, 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 that filled with joy, learning, and heartfelt moments for the children in the community. Through simple games, shared laughter, and meaningful interactions, the activity became a reminder that education is not only about teaching lessons, but also about touching lives with kindness and compassion.

Anchored on the theme, “𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗹: 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴 𝗻𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻,” this initiative reflected the passion of future educators to inspire hope and bring smiles to young hearts. Every moment shared during the program served as proof that even the simplest acts of care can leave lasting memories and help build a brighter future for the next generation.

The council also extends its heartfelt gratitude to the 𝗦𝗞 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 for their collaboration, generosity, and unwavering support in making this meaningful initiative possible. ✨💙

𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗘 𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 | 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗬𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧

Yesterday, May 13, 2026, the Interact Society proudly served as the moderator during the Miting de Avance for the candidates running for positions in the FTE-SSC.

The event became a platform for the aspiring student leaders to introduce their plans, advocacies, and platforms for the student body. Candidates were also challenged with important questions regarding how they would keep their constituents informed and how they would stand as the voice of the students during times of ambiguity in policies and crisis.

More than presenting leadership goals, the Miting de Avance reminded every candidate of the true essence of servant leadership: it is not the student body that must follow the leaders, but the leaders who must listen to, represent, and follow the needs of the student body.

May this event continue to encourage transparency, accountability, and genuine service among future student leaders.
