Dear Viscans,

Please be informed that the Management Information System (MIS) Office will conduct a cleanup of Google Workspace accounts to ensure efficient license utilization and account management.

As part of this activity, the following actions will be implemented:

• 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹 – Licenses assigned to inactive, unused, or ineligible accounts may be removed and reallocated to active users who require them.

• 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 – Email accounts that are no longer in use or are deemed inactive may be placed under soft deletion. Soft deletion temporarily deactivates the account while allowing it to be restored if necessary.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁: Once a user account has been deleted, it can be restored within 20 days. After the 20-day restoration period, the account and its associated data can no longer be restored through the Google Workspace Admin Console.

If you believe your account is still required for official university-related purposes, please notify the MIS Team by submitting a request through the 𝗩𝗦𝗨 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸.𝘃𝘀𝘂.𝗲𝗱𝘂.𝗽𝗵 and select Google Workspace Email → Update Account before the implementation date to prevent unintended license removal or account deletion.
