Batch ‘26, the last of the strand, stands as a final chapter and a defining moment. A culmination of shared experiences, quiet victories, and unwavering perseverance.

Bittersweet, as this chapter comes to a close—leaving behind what has been familiar, while stepping forward into paths yet to be written.

The last hoorah, not just as an ending, but as a reminder that while the strand may conclude here, everything it has built continues on.

In the heart of Baybay City, the rhythmic pedaling of our local potpot drivers serves as a constant reminder of the grit and perseverance that define our community. These hardworking individuals navigate our streets daily, enduring the scorching heat of the sun and the unpredictability of the rain, all to ensure that their families are provided for and that our citizens reach their destinations safely. Their labor is often quiet and overlooked, yet it is a vital gear in the machinery of our local economy. Recognizing this immense sacrifice, the Business and Entrepreneurship Department of Baybay City Senior High School came together to honor these unsung heroes through the "HUDYAKA sa BESS" program held on March 20, 2026.

The success of this initiative, centered on the distribution of "Bundles of Joy," is a testament to what can be achieved when a community unites for a noble cause. We extend our deepest gratitude to our School Principal, Ma’am Grecelda Montalban, whose unwavering support and visionary leadership allowed this project to flourish. Her commitment to fostering social responsibility among students has transformed a simple classroom concept into a meaningful act of service.

This celebration of generosity would not have been possible without the overwhelming support of our sponsors. We also recognize the dedicated Teachers of the Business and Entrepreneurship Department and our hardworking Department Head, whose guidance ensured the seamless ex*****on of this program. We were profoundly honored to host three exceptional speakers who provided our students with invaluable wisdom. Thank you to Ganymede Macabit for teaching us the importance of financial literacy and starting early with tools like GCash Jr., showing us that managing savings is just as vital as sending and receiving funds. To Chin Bien Lim, thank you for reminding us that "in business, patience is not just an option, it's a requirement," and that "you cannot skip struggle and go straight to success." Finally, our gratitude to Maribeth Gilos for the inspiring reminder to hold onto our childhood dreams even when they feel impossible, and for the grounding truth that we must "accept that life is hard and there is 'no easy job,'" because "success doesn't come overnight."
