Thank you to everyone who participated in the Dasig Publication during the Division Meet, especially The Prime, Ad Astra, and ManTALA! It showed in your dedicated hard work to cover the event and the talent and creativity unleashed by the team which developed over the years.
Lastly, a big thank you to all the volunteers who covered all parts of the meet. Although we had some ups and downs, we pretty much kept our own and worked tirelessly for excellent results. I am very proud of what we have done together. Your persistence and resourcefulness are appreciated, your work has made a difference, and good luck as we look towards the future to continue to be great.

Ready, Set, Spike: BNHS-SHS secures their spot in the Division Sports Meet
August 28-29, 2024—District three (3) Men's voleyball team clinched their victory against Bayawan City Science and Technology Education Center (BCSTEC High School) and Bayawan National High School-Junior High School (BNHS-JHS) held at BNHS-JHS Gymnasium, facing their first opponent from Bayawan National High School-Junior High School followed by Bayawan City Science and Technology Education Center High School. Bayawan National High School-Senior High School spikers win straight in each set and qualifies as the representative for the upcoming Division Sports Meet.
"Akong masulti karun nga game kay okay ra. Kinahanglan lang jud maningkamot ug training kay daghan pang kulang and dili rajud mo absent sa training." Said, Karl Vincent K. Catenza the team captain.
In doing sports, playing fair and respecting your teammates and other players is the most important thing as an athlete. Through seamless teamwork, nothing is impossible.

District Meet 2024, matagumpay na natapos
Puno ng kasiyahan at tagumpay ang taunang District Meet na isinagawa sa bulwagan ng Bayawan National-JHS, Agosto 30, 2024 na pinangunahan ni Dr. Jay Garry T. Tangente.
Matapos ang ilang buwan ng paghahanda at pagsasanay sa napiling kategorya ng isports nagpamalas ang mga estudyante ng husay upang karapat-dapat na makarating sa division meet level.
"Our District Sport's Meet for 2024 is already over and we are already ready for the Division Athletic Meet, I believe that our athletes are already equipped with the right skills and right attitude to combat the event that they are into. Kudos to all the athletes and sa District 3, sa District 3 ang edukasyon pwerte!," pahayag ni Dr. Tangente.
Pinarangalan ang Bayawan National-SHS bilang overall champion sa taunang programang District 3 Sports Meet na may 27 gold, 22 silver at 10 bronze, pumangalawa ang Bayawan National HS-JHS na may 22 gold, 24 silver at 10 bronze, pangatlo ang Bayawan City Science and Technology Education Center na may 12 gold, 4 silver at 15 bronze at pang-apat ang Southern Tech Foundation Incorporated na may 1 gold at 3 sliver. Samanta sa elementary naman ay nakasungkit nang unang parangal ang Villareal na may 12 gold, 12 sliver at 7 bronze, na sinundan ng BCSTEC Elem na may 7 gold, 6 silver at 4 bronze.

BNHS Junior High School (JHS) Emerges Victorious in Thrilling Women’s Futsal Match
BNHS Junior High School (JHS) triumph in a gripping women’s futsal match against BNHS Senior High School (SHS), winning 3-2 in a kickout after a 6-6 tie in regular play at Bayawan City Science and Technology Education Center Gymnasium on August 29, showcases high-energy futsal action, with both teams demonstrating impressive skill and determination. The back-and-forth scoring kept fans on the edge of their seats as BNHS-JHS and BNHS-SHS exchanged goals throughout the game.
When the regular time ended with a 6-6 tie, the game proceed to a kickout to determine the winner. In the shoot out, BNHS-JHS shows exceptional composure and accuracy, ultimately prevailing with a 3-2 score in the kickout.
“I was nervous at first, pero when I got used to it, medyo I felt relieved na kay I found my passion sa football and futsal, tungod pod sa akong friends na encourage ko nga modula futsal”- Natalie Kate O. Gripon, goalkeeper from BNHS-JHS women’s futsal team.
“Kontra namo sa team kay communication and di mawala ang teammates pag ka goaling sa shootout, niya nice, galing kay napildi mis championship, so next tournament nasad”- Claui Venice T. Yanso, goalkeeper from BNHS-SHS women’s futsal team.
The success of both teams in this match sets a great tone for the rest of the season and promises more exciting futsal games to come.
