Parents Attend Orientation for ARAL Learners: BCES Strengthens Home-School Partnership for Summer Program Success

Bay, Laguna — Parents and guardians of learners participating in the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Summer Program gathered for a Parents’ Orientation held on May 7, 2026, at the Bay District Covered Court.

The activity was spearheaded by Bay Central Elementary School Principal Dr. Maricar A. Afuang as part of the school’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between the school and the families of ARAL learners.

The orientation aimed to inform parents about the objectives, schedules, and learning activities of the ARAL Summer Program, which is designed to help learners improve their academic performance and enhance their literacy and numeracy skills. Teachers and school personnel also discussed the important role of parents in guiding and motivating their children throughout the program.

In her message, Dr. Afuang emphasized the significance of unity and cooperation in ensuring the success of every learner. She encouraged parents to actively support their children’s educational journey and work closely with teachers in achieving quality learning outcomes.

Parents expressed their appreciation for the initiative, recognizing the school’s efforts in providing additional learning opportunities for pupils during the summer break. The orientation also served as a venue for parents to raise questions and clarify concerns regarding the implementation of the program.

The successful conduct of the orientation reflected Bay Central Elementary School’s dedication to fostering a strong partnership among educators, parents, and learners in promoting accessible and meaningful education for all.

Ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Bayan ng Bay, sa pangunguna ng Punumbayan Hon. Jose O. Padrid, ay nagpapatupad ng Hybrid Classes Setup, Modular Distance Learning, at Shifting Scheme sa ilalim ng Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) sa lahat ng antas ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa bayan ng Bay, BUKAS – Marso 19, 2026.
Ito ay bunsod ng naganap na lindol nitong ika-18 ng Marso 2026, kung saan kinakailangang magsagawa ng agarang inspection sa mga gusali ng paaralan upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, at kawani.

Kasabay nito, inaasahan din ang isang nationwide transportation strike, kaya’t pinapayuhan ang lahat na mag-ingat at magplano nang maayos ng kanilang biyahe.

Pinapaalalahanan ang lahat na manatiling alerto at sumunod sa mga ipatutupad na alituntunin para sa kaligtasan ng bawat isa.

Bilang bahagi ng aktibidad, namahagi rin ng 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐬 sa mga mag-aaral upang lalo pang mapalalim ang kanilang pagkatuto at pakikiisa sa pangangalaga ng wildlife.

Bay Central Learners Join BFP Open House for Fire Prevention Month

In celebration of the annual Fire Prevention Month, selected grade VI learners from Bay Central Elementary School actively participated in the BFP Open House held on March 4, 2026, at the BFP Office, Bay Laguna. The event provided students with a hands-on experience in fire safety awareness, showcasing firefighting equipment, emergency procedures, and preventive measures to keep communities safe.

In celebration of Women’s Month, Bay Central Elementary School proudly presents its third featured epitome of strength and dedication, Mrs. Lina Parducho—an exceptional Special Education teacher who exemplifies compassion, resilience, and unwavering commitment to learners with special abilities.
