DepEd Jose Lopez Manzano NHS - Batangas A public high school in the municipality of Tuy, Batangas “When you invest your time, you make a goal and a decision of something that you want to accomplish.

Whether it is to make good grades in school, be a good athlete, be a good person, go down and do some community service and help somebody who is in need, whatever it is you choose to do, you're investing your time in that.” This is once stated by Nick Saban to deal with choices of using our time. In this institution, Jose Lopez Manzano Tuy National High School, everyone is investing his own time to accomplish the tasks which are expected of him. As the principal of the school, I commit my time to decide on school matters and manage the school to cater the needs of the community of Tuy. The teachers of this school perform their tasks unselfishly to attends to the needs of the students and mold them to become productive members of the community. As parents, they always participate in school activities and actively helping the school in nurturing their children to realize the vision and mission of the Department of Education. The students continuously dig for knowledge for them to understand the meaning of the world they live in. The other stakeholders – local government unit, constantly support the school in the attainment of its goal. As a challenge, our choices in making our time worthwhile must always be integrated to the accomplishment of our objectives in educating our students – for them to achieve their dreams and for them to be always inspired in reaching their ambitions in life. 💙🎒 PROJECT KALINGA: KEEPING LEARNERS SAFE, AWARE, LINKED, INCLUDED, NURTURED, GUIDED AND ADVOCATED 🎒💙

A PARTNERSHIP THAT CARES. A PROJECT THAT KALINGA.

Today marks the meaningful Launching of Project KALINGA at Jose Lopez Manzano National High School (JLMNHS), an initiative spearheaded by its proponent, Roselle B. Rivera, PhD, in partnership with the Tuynians Zumba Club Headed by their President Mes. Lucena B. Timbol.

As part of its launching activity, 17 selected Grade 7 learners received school bags—an act of generosity that goes beyond providing a safe and simple school essential. These bags represent care, encouragement, hope, and a reminder to our learners that they are supported by a community that believes in them. 💙

The launching was made even more significant through the Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between JLMNHS, represented by School Head Maricel D. Mercado, PhD, Roselle B. Rivera, PhD. and the Tuynians Zumba Club President Mrs . Lucena B. Timbol, formalizing a partnership committed to supporting the welfare, development, and well-being of our learners. Witnesses by Mr. Mark T. Motilla Head Teacher I - JLMNHS and Mrs. Minda C. Pesigan - Tuynians Zumba Club Treasurer.

Through this initiative, we hope to strengthen a culture where every learner feels seen, valued, supported, and cared for.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the Tuynians Zumba Club for extending your generosity and for becoming a meaningful partner in this endeavor. Your kindness proves that when schools and community organizations work together, small acts of generosity can create lasting impact. 💙

Congratulations to Roselle B. Rivera, PhD, the Tuynians Zumba Club, and everyone who contributed to the successful launching of Project KALINGA.

🎒 17 bags. 17 learners. One powerful message: YOU MATTER. Hoping for more bags to Come❤️🙏.

May Project KALINGA continue to grow and reach more learners who need not only material support, but also guidance, inclusion, encouragement, and genuine care.

Because at JLMNHS, we do not simply educate learners—we KALINGA them. ❤️
