Balete NHS Inaugurates New School Clinic Following Holy Mass and Blessing

Balete National High School officially inaugurated its new school clinic through a meaningful ceremony highlighted by a Holy Mass and the blessing of the facility on June 13, 2026. The occasion reflected the school's continued commitment to ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of its learners.
The celebration brought together alumni officers, faculty members, staff, students, and honored guests, including former School Principal Mrs. Maria Macabulos. The event was held under the leadership of Dr. Catherine V. Gonzales, School Principal, with Rev. Fr. Billy Manguiat serving as the guest celebrant who presided over the Holy Mass and blessing ceremony.
"This clinic is more than just a building—it is a symbol of compassion, unity, and our shared commitment to ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of every learner and member of our school community," said Mr. Emmanuel "Emman" Orola.
He added that the new clinic reflects the school's dedication to providing better care and immediate support for students and staff, creating a safe and welcoming space where everyone can receive assistance whenever needed.
The construction of the school clinic began during the vacation period and was completed before the opening of the new school year. The entire school community warmly welcomed the new facility, which will provide improved healthcare services and support for both students and staff.
With the completion of the new school clinic, the campus takes another important step toward creating a safer and healthier learning environment. Students and staff can now look forward to improved access to healthcare services and enhanced support throughout the school year.
"For the students currently studying at BNHS, the journey may still be long, but graduation will eventually come. As you move forward, remember your roots and continue cherishing the school that helped shape your dreams," said Dr. Catherine V. Gonzales, School Principal.
Dr. Gonzales also expressed her hope that future graduates would one day return and give back to the school, just as today's alumni continue to support BNHS. She said their generosity and dedication serve as an inspiration for the next generation to value and strengthen their beloved alma mater.
Additionally, Mrs. Apryl D. Vergara, Teacher III; Mrs. Ursula A. Balitaan, Head Teacher I; Mrs. Marissa M. Garcia; and Police Captain Eric Caguitla delivered heartfelt messages, expressing their appreciation, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to the school community.
The inauguration concluded with optimism as the entire school community looked forward to the proper and meaningful use of the new school clinic. It is expected to become a vital facility that will provide quality healthcare, assistance, and support to students, teachers, and staff whenever needed.
