Today, the community of Balete National High School came together for Ash Wednesday, led by members of the local church, embracing a season of repentance and renewed faith.🙏😇

Pens ready, voices rising! ✍️🗞️ On February 10, 2026, Balete National High School welcomed its new batch of aspiring journalists during the recruitment held at the School Library. The journey to inform, inspire, and lead starts now!

The 55th Founding Anniversary of Balete National High School became a celebration filled with color, rhythm, and shared joy. From morning until afternoon, the covered court overflowed with excitement as each performance brought the community closer together. The teachers opened the day with a lively dance number that instantly lifted everyone’s spirits, setting the tone for a celebration rooted in unity and school pride.

The Grade 7 learners followed with their upbeat zumba performance, charming the crowd with their bright energy and teamwork. Grade 8 then took the stage with a graceful folk dance, their movements reflecting our rich culture and the values passed down through generations. Soon after, the Grade 10 students stepped forward with a powerful hiphop performance—confident, sharp, and full of expression. And just when the audience thought the excitement had peaked, the Grade 9 dancers filled the floor with vibrant festival steps, colorful costumes, and contagious smiles that made the entire place come alive.

By the afternoon, the celebration continued with friendly games prepared by the MAPEH, AP, and TLE departments. Cheers echoed across the campus as students and teachers shared laughs, supported one another, and enjoyed the simple joy of being part of a community.

This year’s anniversary wasn’t just a milestone—it was a reminder of the heart of Balete National High School: its people, its culture, and the spirit of togetherness that keeps growing stronger with every year we celebrate.

The long-awaited reunion is finally happening — 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 of Balete National High School is here to bring us all back where it began. This event is more than just a get-together; it’s a celebration of every laugh, challenge, victory, and memory that shaped who we are today.

Let’s come together under the theme “𝐏𝐮𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞ñ𝐨, 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐰, 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐲𝐚,” and honor the generations of alumni from Batch 1972 to 2016. Mark your calendars for December 13, 2025, and let’s fill the day with joy, stories, and that familiar Baleteño pride. Tara na, uwi na tayo!

The Girl Scout of the Philippines (GSP) investiture ceremony was recently held at Balete National High School, marking a significant moment for the new recruits. The event gathered numerous young women who enthusiastically took their oath, pledging to uphold the values and principles of the Girl Scouts organization. Under the watchful guidance of their mentors, the girls proudly wore red scarves as a symbol of their commitment. This formal ceremony not only showcased their dedication but also ignited a spirit of camaraderie and leadership among the participants.

Throughout the investiture, the atmosphere was filled with anticipation and pride as the new scouts were warmly welcomed into the fold. The school grounds were abuzz with excitement, with each participant ready to embrace the responsibilities that come with being a part of the GSP. The program emphasized the importance of community service, personal development, and patriotism, encouraging the girls to actively contribute to society. Balete National High School continues to foster a nurturing environment where young women can grow into responsible and empowered members of their communities through such impactful activities.
