In an endeavor to cultivate the art of public speaking and critical analyis on certain topic or issue related to Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health that occur in our society, Palahanan INHS headed by Araling Panlipunan Department Head, Mrs. Jennifer R. Virtusio with the support of our very own school head, Dr. Anacleto M. Gunio recently organized a School-based On-the-Spot Oratorical Speech contest. It is an NFOT event category of Population Development (PopDev) showcasing the persuasive prowess of students from Grades 8 to 12 in oratorical presentation focusing on Comprehensive Sexuality Education.

Erich Janna Reyes, Grade 8 student secured the top spot with her articulate speech, highlighting a deep understanding of population-related issues. Following closely, Veronica Charles Amparo from Grade 9 earned her second-place position through compelling narrative and connecting with the audience through a blend of passion and facts. Clarisse Pangilinan (Grade 11) and Angelica Atienza (Grade 12) tied on the third place, showcasing their maturity and sophistication in addressing the challenges of population development.

A heartfelt acknowledgment is due to our esteemed panel of judges, Sir Juan Carlos H. Perez, Ma'am Nina Liza P. Magpantay and Ma'am May C. Mendoza whose expertise enriched the contest.

In accordance to OASOPS No. 2023-250A Memorandum, Palahanan Integrated National High School headed by our dedicated and committed OIC-Head Teacher I, Ma'am Jennifer R. Virtusio conducts a webinar to commemorate the 127th anniversary of the martyrdom of Jose Rizal.

The theme, "Rizal: Pundasyon ng Kahapon, Isinasabuhay Ngayon" (Rizal: Foundation of the Past, Alive Today) is a testament to the enduring relevance of Jose Rizal's ideals and principles in contemporary society.

This webinar is a symbolic tribute to the national hero of the Philippines, whose legacy transcended time, and inspired generations.
