Cheating in school is a form of academic dishonesty that involves unethical methods to complete activities, tests, or exams. It undermines the integrity of the educational process.
So we've got to get creative in order to keep students from being tempted to look at their neighbors' answers – and let’s be honest, we would all like to think the students won’t do that, but some will.
This anti-cheating desk will reduce cheating while also serving as a concentration screen that will help the student focus during everyday classwork or exam.
The Anti-Cheating Desk comprises a school chair as the product's foundation and Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) as the main material used to make this anti-cheating desk.
How will these materials work?
The PDLC film or the smart glass will be placed on the front and right side of the school chair desk. The PDLC will act as cover during the examination. The property of PDLC where it is translucent and blurry if there's no electric impulse will help the room avoid cheating such as exchanging answers. After the examination, the examinees or students can make the PDLC clear and transparent by turning on the switch under THE desk. The 24V battery will be installed under the desk where the students can trigger the on and off buttons easily.
