𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 | 𝟐-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩

Day 2 started with a refreshing morning by the coast of Imelda, San Juan, Batangas—an area known for its mangroves and fine white sand. But instead of just enjoying the view, the student leaders took action. They spent time picking up trash along the shore and in the ocean, showing that caring for the environment goes beyond words.

In the afternoon, the participants gathered for a session where they listened, learned, and reflected on what they had experienced throughout the camp. They also began creating project proposals inspired by the real-life environmental issues they encountered during their trip.

They finished the camp with hearts full of purpose and a deeper commitment to protect and serve the environment as young leaders.

📌 La Luz Resort

Day 1 concluded at La Luz Resort, where the students first participated in a session that encouraged learning and reflection. Afterward, they enjoyed swimming and spending time together. It became a moment for them to bond, share experiences, and strengthen their connection as young leaders. A calm and refreshing way to end the day and prepare for what comes next.

📌 Heritage Tour – White House

Another stop on Day 1 was the White House, where the students had the opportunity to reflect on the history connected to the place. The visit encouraged them to recognize the value of historical landmarks in shaping identity and understanding the past.

📌 Heritage Tour – Obligar’s Pottery

The heritage tour continued at Obligar’s Pottery located in Barangay Libato, San Juan, Batangas, where the students observed how skilled artisans turn simple clay into beautiful works. The experience gave them a deeper appreciation for the effort, patience, and tradition behind the craft.

It served as a reminder of the importance of preserving local culture and craftsmanship.

📌 Heritage Tour – Museo Marasigan

Calubcub I Senior High School takes part in the 2-Day Marine Youth Leadership Camp, represented by its student leaders:

Day 1 began with a visit to Museo Marasigan, where the students explored pieces of history and learned about the stories behind them. It was a meaningful start that allowed them to appreciate local heritage and culture.
