Lemery PNP Unveils One-Tap Alert System at Lemery SHS
Safety took a more practical turn at Lemery Senior High School on September 21, 2026, as the Lemery Municipal Police Station introduced its One-Tap Alert Response System, a mobile application designed to provide the school community with a direct and immediate channel to call for police assistance when security concerns arise.
The initiative was presented during the school’s Flag Raising Ceremony, where PLTCOL June Aian M Rojas, Chief of Police, led the Lemery PNP team in engaging learners and school personnel on matters concerning school safety and security.
Rather than simply reminding the school community to “be vigilant,” the police discussion focused on recognizing the different kinds of threats that may affect a school and knowing what to do when one occurs. Learners and personnel were given security tips intended to strengthen awareness, preparedness, and timely response.
At the center of the discussion was the One-Tap Alert Response System, highlighting how a mobile application can serve as a quick and accessible means of reaching authorities when an incident requires police attention. For a school community where thousands of learners and personnel interact daily, the system offers another layer of coordination between the school and the local police.
The presence of the Lemery PNP also turned the morning ceremony into an opportunity for direct dialogue about safety. Learners listened as the police team discussed potential threats, while school personnel gained reminders on their role in keeping the school environment secure and responsive.
Adding the school’s voice to the initiative, School Principal Mrs. Jocelyn C. Adarlo delivered a message of support, underscoring the importance of working closely with law enforcement and strengthening partnerships that help protect the school community.
The activity was attended by learners and school personnel, bringing the message of security beyond the police and school administration and placing it where it matters most—in the awareness and readiness of the entire Lemery SHS community.
With the introduction of the One-Tap Alert Response System mobile application, Lemery SHS and the Lemery PNP further strengthened their shared commitment to a school environment where safety is not only discussed, but actively prepared for—with help just one tap away.
