As part of 𝐓𝐂𝐂 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐊𝐔𝐇𝐀𝐍 2025, the Tanauan City College kicked off the most wonderful time of the year with a dazzling sneak peek event! The night was a magical display, highlighting the vibrant tradition of the Filipino 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹 and the breathtaking main 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 Lighting—a true beacon of hope and celebration for the TCC community!

The event began with a heartfelt invocation led by 𝗥𝗢𝗫𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗢, 𝘐𝘓𝘊-𝘈𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵, followed by the solemn singing of the National Anthem, the Tanauan Hymn, and the Tanauan City College Hymn.

The stage came alive with a delightful 𝗜𝗟𝗖 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿! The ILC Officers and their Adviser proved they aren't just leaders; they are adorable performers! Despite their hectic schedules and the busyness of preparing this grand event, they gave a surprisingly charming and heartwarming performance.

Welcome Remarks was delivered by 𝗠𝗥. 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗢𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗡𝗭𝗔𝗟𝗕𝗢 𝗝𝗥., 𝘐𝘓𝘊- 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵. As the head of this spectacular event, he delivered his message with pride, reflecting the full effort and dedication he poured into the preparation, alongside his hardworking officers. His commitment truly shone through!

Special messages were shared by 𝗗𝗥. 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗠𝗔 𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗚 𝗣. 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗠𝗘, 𝘝𝘗 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘈𝘥𝘮𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝗗𝗥. 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗬𝗡𝗡 𝗡. 𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗔𝗗𝗔, 𝘝𝘗 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘈𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘈𝘧𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘴, and 𝗠𝗥. 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗩. 𝗚𝗢𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗢 𝗝𝗥., 𝗠𝗣𝗔, 𝘛𝘊𝘊 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘳-𝘪𝘯-𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦, highlighting the heart of the tradition—how the simple act of Christmas lighting began and has continuously leveled up through the years, becoming bigger and brighter for every TCCian!

The moment we had all been waiting for, the 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿! Everyone, from students to faculty, joined in an exciting, synchronized countdown. The campus was filled with cheers, energy, and the pure enjoyment of all TCCIANS as the massive tree illuminated the night camous officially kicking off the festive season!

Right after, the judges began the challenging task of the 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. They roamed one by one, carefully inspecting the stunning entries. Every single entry was a shimmering, colorful masterpiece, making it incredibly tough to choose the best among all the best!

The night reached its peak with the electrifying 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄, featuring 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙠 𝙃𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙖 who gave their absolute full energy, pulling off high-octane dance numbers that successfully hyped everyone in the audience! , followed by 𝙃𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙜 𝙃𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙖 and the 𝙃𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙙, who makes the night more loud and unforgettable with their powerful vocals and instrumentation!

The event concluded with heartfelt closing remarks by 𝗠𝗦. 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝗝. 𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗔𝗡, 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘈𝘧𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘴, who beautifully wrapped up the night.

A special note of thanks to our incredible Master of Ceremony, 𝗠𝗥. 𝗥-𝗝𝗔𝗬 𝗦. 𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗦, 𝘐𝘓𝘊-𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵. His powerful voice and infectious hype made our event more energetic, joyful, and flowing smoothly from start to finish!

Promoting awareness, education, and early intervention remains essential in building a healthier and more informed community. On December 11, 2025, Tanauan City College conducted an HIV Awareness Seminar at the TCC New Building, bringing together the leaders and representatives of the Supreme Learning Council (SLC), Department Learning Council (DLC), and various non-academic organizations.

The seminar highlighted the importance of understanding HIV—how it is transmitted, how it can be prevented, and why early testing and counseling are vital in reducing stigma and encouraging proactive health decisions. Participants were equipped with accurate information, practical strategies for awareness advocacy, and a deeper appreciation of the role student leaders play in fostering a supportive, inclusive environment.

Through collaborative efforts like this, TCC continues to strengthen its commitment to student well-being and community health. Together, we move toward a future where education empowers awareness and compassion leads to action.
