More highlights from yesterday’s Think IT, Prompt IT, Build IT: The InnovED 2026 Student Bootcamp.
The event gave students a chance to strengthen their skills and explore new ideas in innovation and technology. Through engaging sessions and hands-on learning, participants were able to apply what they know and gain fresh perspectives they can carry forward.

Under the 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗡𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 platform of the University of Batangas Student Government CICT. Students from the College of Information and Communications Technology participated in the Day 1 of AWS Community Day held at the GCash office at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

It was an 𝗔𝗪𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 filled with fun learnings and memories that will truly last a lifetime!

Under the 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗡𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 platform of the University of Batangas Student Government CICT and AWS Cloud Club - University of Batangas. Our 2 officers the Captain Matthew Vann Delgado and Chief Technology Officer Gian Andrei Pita embarked on a night worth remembering. As they went to AWS Philippines Headquarters at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

LOOK: AWS Philippines hosted an insightful media roundtable earlier today in BGC, highlighting the pivotal role of grassroots cloud communities in advancing the nation’s digital landscape. Featuring Precious Lim, Country Manager of AWS Philippines, and Raphael "Rafi" Quisumbing, AWS Hero and Philippines Community Lead, the discussion focused on how these organizations support government initiatives to bolster digital literacy. With a robust network of over 30,000 members nationwide, the AWS Cloud Communities were showcased as a primary engine for cloud and AI skills training, utilizing a community-centered approach to bridge the local tech talent gap.

The AWS Cloud Club - University of Batangas officially took flight with InnovED 2026 Day 1. Over 400+ UBians gathered to dive deep into the world of Generative AI, proving that the future of technology is bright here in the University of Batangas.

From a hands-on AWS PartyRock bootcamp to an intense afternoon hackathon, it was inspiring to see 17 teams transform creative ideas into functional AI prototypes. By aligning their projects with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, our students showed that they aren't just building apps they’re building solutions for a better world.

This is just the beginning of our journey to the cloud!
