It was truly an honor to welcome and assist the distinguished evaluators as they assessed the University’s facilities, resources, and support services that contribute to academic excellence.

The designation of a Center of Excellence (COE) is a significant recognition granted to academic programs that demonstrate outstanding performance in instruction, research, extension, and faculty development. This recognition reflects the institution’s commitment to maintaining high standards of quality education and continuous improvement in preparing future educators.

The STEAM Library remains committed to supporting the academic and research needs of the University community by providing relevant resources, innovative services, and conducive learning spaces that contribute to the achievement of institutional goals.

Batangas State University, The National Engineering University (BatStateU The NEU), proudly celebrates the performance of its graduates in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT). Hazel R. Bejasa, a BSED alumna from BatStateU Pablo Borbon, secured an impressive 8th place in the Secondary Level exam with a remarkable rating of 93.60%, further contributing to the university’s distinguished record of academic excellence.

This commitment to quality education is reflected in the stellar performance of BatStateU’s campuses, almost all of which exceeded national passing percentages in both the Elementary and Secondary Level examinations. In the Secondary Level, BatStateU Lipa achieved a perfect 100% passing rate, while JPLPC-Malvar followed closely with 94.77%. Other campuses also demonstrated commendable results, including Rosario at 82.35%, Lemery at 78.57%, Pablo Borbon at 74.58%, ARASOF-Nasugbu at 66.67%, and San Juan at 55.56%.

Furthermore, the university’s excellence extended to the Elementary Level as well, with Rosario topping the chart with a 100% passing rate, followed by JPLPC-Malvar at 95.24% and Pablo Borbon at 87.50%, while ARASOF-Nasugbu registered 42.86%.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), a total of 18,376 elementary teachers out of 32,796 examinees (56.03%) and 45,001 secondary teachers out of 61,561 examinees (73.10%) successfully passed the licensure exams, which were conducted nationwide on March 15, 2026.

BatStateU The NEU continues to uphold its mission of producing competent and dedicated educators, proving that its graduates are not only well-prepared academically but also ready to make meaningful contributions to national development.
