Key Reminders During the Drill:

1. Stay Calm: Listen carefully to instructions.
2.Run, Hide, or Escape: Move away from danger or secure a hiding location if escape isn't safe.
3.Stay Quiet: Silence mobile phones and keep quiet.
4. Follow Instructions: Obey teachers, school personnel, and authorized responders.
5. Do Not Panic: Avoid unnecessary movement.
6. Wait for the "All Clear": Stay in your safe location until officially announced.

Dahil sa patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan, at batay sa assessment at rekomendasyon ng City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO),sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa DepEd Schools Division Office (SDO) – Batangas City SUSPENDIDO ang face-to-face classes mula Preschool hanggang College sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan, kolehiyo, at unibersidad sa Lungsod ng Batangas bukas, Agosto 19, 2026 (Miyerkules).

Sa halip, ipatutupad ang Online/Modular Distance Learning, alinsunod sa umiiral na mga polisiya at learning modalities ng bawat paaralan.

Building a Safer Tomorrow: BSP Batangas City Council Holds Safeguarding Policy Orientation ⚜️

Ensuring the safety, protection, and well-being of our young scouts remains at the heart of Scouting. ⚜️

Yesterday, August 15, 2026, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) Batangas City Council gathered scouts—including Sto. Niño NHS – BSP Outfit 157 with Institutional Scouting Coordinator, Lorenzo E. Hernandez, ALT—together with unit leaders and institutional scout officials at the Batangas City East Elementary School Gymnasium for the BSP National Safeguarding Policy Orientation.

Originally rescheduled to prioritize everyone’s safety during the recent inclement weather, the orientation successfully brought the scouting community together to strengthen awareness and understanding of vital policies on scout safety, protection, welfare, and emergency preparedness.

This meaningful undertaking was made even more significant through the collaborative efforts of council executives, unit leaders, parents, and the entire scouting community, reaffirming our shared responsibility to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where every young scout can grow, lead, and serve with confidence.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our beloved Principal, Mrs. Mila M. Mallare, for her unwavering support, warm guidance, and steadfast commitment to the welfare and development of our scouts. Her encouragement and leadership continue to inspire us in providing meaningful opportunities for our learners to become responsible, compassionate, and empowered young leaders. 💙
