Please be informed that Batangas Provincial Library will be closed on the following national holidays:
December 24 – Christmas Eve
December 25 – Christmas Day
December 29- Work Suspension
December 30 – Rizal Day
December 31 – Last Day of the Year

January 1 2026 – New Year's Day
January 2 2026- Work Suspension

Ngayong Christmas Season, pumunta ang Batangas Provincial Library sa bayan ng Rosario para sa isang Reading for Healing.

Namahagi ang BPL ng maikling kwento at munting regalo sa mga batang pasyente ng Mahal na Virgen Maria Sto. Rosario District Hospital. Hangad ng BPL ang mabilis na paggaling ng mga bata sa pediatric ward.

Maraming salamat po, Dr. Roldan Briones at sa mga staff ng Rosario District Hospital. Maraming salamat din po sa ating mga Bokal ng Lalawigan na namahagi ng mga regalo sa ating mga bata. Maligayang pasko po! ​🎄📚✨

The Batangas Provincial Library will close early on Tuesday, December 16, at 2:00 p.m. to allow our staff to attend the Office of the Vice Governor and Sangguniang Panlalawigan Christmas activity.

Regular library operations will resume the following day.

The Provincial Government of Batangas is one with the nation in the observance of the 𝑭𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒚.

Each year on December 8th, we celebrate the feast day of the Immaculate Conception, a Holy Day of Obligation, as we commemorate the Blessed Virgin Mary being conceived without the stain of original sin.

𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

[Pursuant to PROCLAMATION NO. 727 of 2024, December 8 is declared as a SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY in the entire country to commemorate the above-mentioned feast/observance.]

Ngayong araw, nakasama natin ang mga daycare students ng Bucal Child Development Center, Brgy. Bucal, Batangas City para sa isang masayang storytelling activity. Kasama muli si Teacher Criselda Manansala, nabahagian natin ng kuwento at kaunting laro ang mga bata sa ating aklatan. 🌈

Maraming salamat po muli, Teacher Elda, sa pangalawang pagkakataong makasama ang Bucal Child Development Center ngayong kapaskuhan. 🎁🎅

The Batangas Provincial Library will be closed on Monday, December 8 in observance of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and Batangas Foundation Day. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, December 9.

While the physical library will be closed, our online resources and Research Online Service Assistant (ROSA) will remain accessible.
