September 21, 1974- the year the Batangas Varsitarian as a Fraternity was born under Martial Law Era in Far Eastern University.
Guided by the simple principle of "Mag akayan ang mga kapwa kabataang Batangueño".
This coming September 21, 2023, The Batangas Varsitarian is entering its 49th year of "Pag-aakayan".

Thru Fraternalism and Service!"
As years go by, the Batangas Varsitarian rectify its errors and upgraded the organizational system and accept the challenge of times,,, and we survived!

PURPOSE , MISSION AND GOAL OF BATANGAS VARSITARIAN
PURPOSE
The purpose of this Fraternity shall be to assemble Batangueno youth and students in a Grand Brotherhood in the principles of brotherhood, loyalty and service; to develop Leadership, to promote Friendship, and to provide Service to fellow Batanguenos; and to uphold and preserve the distinctive Batangueno heritage of loyalty, heroism and bravery.

MISSION
The mission of the Batangas Varsitarian is to provide service, education, resources and training to the future leaders of the Batangueno communities. This mission is demonstrated every day through acts of brotherhood, social awareness and support for the Batangueno communities around the world.
Batangas Varsitarian was founded to provide opportunities for the Batangueno college students seeking the best possible college and Fraternity and Sorority experience. We have maintained the integrity of our purpose by strengthening our ties to the Batangueno community and serving as partners of LGUs and Universities on community projects and collegiate projects.
Our heritage stems from one source: young Batangueno students and community youth banding together in allegiance. The fraternity can be a home away from home, providing the same stabilizing and guiding values that students and community youth previously gained from their families. Batangueno students and community youths search BV because it is a Batangueno Fraternity and Sorority. In the Brotherhood’s 45-year history, more than 100,000 men and women have worn the badge of the Batangas Varsitarian.

GOAL
Conceivably of greater importance, Batangas Varsitarian provides education, resources and training for youth and students to develop leadership for the future of the Batangangueno community. Tomorrow’s Batangueno leaders are in our chapters today. These are the young men who must be counted upon to support Batangueno causes and to prepare to be one of tomorrow’s Batangueno leaders leaders, so that they may aid themselves, their family, their community and their members.
Throughout our history, the organization setting has served as a learning house, a testing ground for young Batangueno who later become leaders in business, education, and government. A goal of our Brotherhood is to help each student and community youth to develop character, responsibility and a proper set of values through living together in brotherhood and Sisterhood. Batangas Varsitarian prepares young men and women for their role in life as responsible citizens.
Therefore, our basic purpose is to provide the opportunity for every Batangueno youth and students to be able to join the Batangas Varsitarian whose purpose is not to fight with other fraternities and a society scourge, but rather social and cultural in nature. Batangas Varsitarian is open to all Batangueno youth and students who are willing to espouse its values and mission.
