In view of the continuous inclement weather brought about by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) associated with Tropical Depression Maymay, and in consideration of the safety and well-being of the BPSU community, the University announces the following arrangements effective 12:00 noon today, August 5:

• All classes across all BPSU campuses (Undergraduate, College of Law, and College of Medicine) shall shift to synchronous online learning.

• All Related Learning Experiences (RLE), clinical duties, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) shall likewise shift to synchronous online learning.

• Students experiencing poor or unstable internet connectivity shall be excused from attending synchronous online classes, provided they inform their respective instructors.

• All Administrative Personnel and Non teaching personnel shall continue onsite reporting and the delivery of essential services until further notice.

The University will continue to closely monitor the prevailing weather conditions and official advisories from DOST-PAGASA.

Further announcements shall be issued should weather conditions warrant adjustments to the foregoing arrangements.

Please be informed that all TES and TDP grantees are advised to keep their registered LANDBANK account active.

• For grantees who registered a PISO Account: Please maintain a minimum balance of P1.00.

• For grantees who registered a LANDBANK Regular Savings Account: Please maintain a minimum balance of P 500.00.

If your registered LANDBANK account has been inactive or dormant, please visit your LANDBANK branch as soon as possible to have your account REACTIVATED.

Failure to maintain an active account may result in delays in the release of your scholarship grant. We encourage all grantees to regularly monitor the status of their registered LANDBANK account and ensure that it remains active to avoid any inconvenience.

Following the downgrade of the rainfall warning over the Province of Bataan to Yellow Rainfall Warning, and after continuous monitoring of the prevailing weather conditions, the University announces the following arrangements for Wednesday, August 5, 2026:

All scheduled onsite classes across all BPSU campuses shall resume as scheduled.
All University offices shall continue normal onsite operations.

The University will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and official advisories from PAGASA and the concerned authorities.

PAGASA is expected to issue another weather update at 11:00 PM tonight. Should there be significant changes in the weather situation that warrant adjustments to the University's operations, BPSU will immediately issue a corresponding advisory through its official communication channels.

Students, faculty members, employees, and other stakeholders are encouraged to remain vigilant, exercise caution while traveling, and continue monitoring official BPSU announcements.
