Three MAAP representatives headed by Sir Saturnino G. Abayon, IMEC and MAAP coordinator with MAAP 1st Class Officers and Probationary Ensigns Shalom M. Abayon and John Maynard S. Catacutan of Bayawan City conduct a Maritime Academy in Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) orientation to the Senior High School students and parents of Bal-os National High School today, October 16, 2024 at the SHS building.
The said orientation aims to introduce the aspiring students to the maritime education, program, facilities, training and leadership development that MAAP is known for. Shalom Abayon and John Maynard Catacutan discussed and shared their practices and experiences in MAAP. Parents also had the opportunity to engage and raise their queries and concerns during the open forum.
The orientation ended with a speech of the IMEC and MAAP coordinator, Mr. Saturnino G. Abayon expressing his excitement and enthusiasm for the aspiring students who will soon lead and bring pride to the academy.
