Educator's Guild - NISU Barotac Viejo

THROWBACK | University Week marked a meaningful celebration of Education Day, organized by the Educator’s Guild, showcasing creativity, collaboration, and academic excellence through various engaging activities.

The Eco Shirt Fashion Show highlighted innovation and sustainability, with Anica Babes Palmes (BSEd Mathematics), representing the 2nd and 4th years, emerging as Champion. Justin Gallego (BEEd), representing the 1st and 3rd years, secured First Runner-Up, while Richz John Barreto (BSEd English), also representing the 1st and 3rd years, placed Second Runner-Up.

In the Instructional Materials Making Contest, Trimmy Lorica and Mariel Amaro (BEEd) claimed 1st Place. Hannah Lyn Balayo and Trisha Bianan (BSEd English) earned 2nd Place, followed by Arjay Ambuan and Stephanie Marcelino (BEEd) in 3rd Place.The Quiz Bowl tested knowledge and teamwork, with Group 1 (BSEd English) Lynard Basinang, Mae Arboleda, Rogen Mark Bermejo, and Bea Grace Dicen taking 1st Place. Group 4 (BEEd) Heart Villanueva, Keisha Calfoforo, Donna Baldeo, and Mary Grace Benevista placed 2nd, while Group 2 (BSEd English) Jewell Ballares, Jelian Camingay, Gilgen Dionisio, and Angelyn Bajo secured 3rd Place.

This successful event was made possible through the unwavering support from the campus administrator, Dr. Ruby S. Yotoko, and the SAS Director, Dr. Ana Liza P. Caliwag, as well as from the three chairpersons: Dr. Roden Toreno, Dr. Neyshell Araño, and Dr. Albert Depaloma.

The Mathematical Investigation Presentation was conducted on December 17, 2025, by the third-year BSED Mathematics Major students of NISU- Barotac Viejo Campus. The activity was evaluated by the panel members, Dr. Roden H. Toreno and Dr. Albert P. Depaloma, under the guidance of their adviser, Instr. Joevilyn M. Bayona, who also served as a panel member.
