SSC President Mr. Jazper John M. Tupas has been elected Chairperson on Student Welfare during the Federated Supreme Student Council (FSSC) Election and Meeting currently being held at Northern Iloilo State University in Victorino Salcedo–Sara.

In his brief speech, Tupas highlighted his advocacy, engagement, and partnership with the NISU in Barotac Viejo Peer Educators, underscoring his experience and capability to lead the committee.

Other delegates from NISU in BV include Ms. Jessa M. Tad-y (Vice President), Petal Jane D. Exim (Senate President), Rea Geneca A. Bagolcol (Senator), Dr. Elvira A. Tubungbanua (SSC Adviser), and Mr. Kenith B. Villaruel (Campus Director, Student Affairs and Services).

The Office of the Scholarship Coordinator is now accepting applications for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) for the 1st Semester, AY 2026–2027. First-year students are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

1. Filipino Citizen
2. Not currently receiving any other scholarship or educational grant
3. Enrolled student of NISU in Barotac Viejo for the 1st Semester, AY 2026–2027

📢 TES Scholar Information & Update

We are pleased to share an important update regarding the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) scholar program, which continues to support qualified students in pursuing their college education with financial assistance from the government.

The TES scholarship is designed to help ease the financial burden of students by providing subsidies for tuition and other school-related expenses. This program is especially beneficial for students coming from low-income households, allowing them to focus more on their studies and academic performance.
