Panibagong buwan, panibagong laban.
Another calendar flip, but the same tired body. Same long hours. Same deadlines. Same pressure to keep showing up, even when you’re not okay. 😞
It can be hard when no one really gets how heavy it’s been. People sometimes assume you’re fine just because you’re “functioning”, and it can make you feel unseen because no one really asks, or even when they do, it barely scratches the surface.
But you know.
You know the challenges you face every single day. You know the moments you wanted to give up but didn’t. You know what it took just to survive the last few months.
So if it ever feels like no one notices your effort this August, let yourself notice you. You already know how hard you’re trying. You already know what you’ve been through. With that, give yourself the same credit, care, and compassion you keep giving others. 🫶
You are your biggest witness. Your safest home. The way you keep going, even when it’s hard or when you’re tired, is something to be proud of. So if August already feels heavy, breathe. You’ve handled worse. You’ll get through this too. 🫂
As we celebrate National Wellness Month, may this be your reminder that wellness isn’t just about doing more or being better. Sometimes, it’s also about pausing, breathing, and acknowledging: “I’ve been through a lot, and I’m still here.” 💛
You’re doing better than you think. Even if no one else says it, thank you for not giving up. ☀️
