𝘽𝙉𝙃𝙎 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙙𝙖 𝙀𝙨𝙠𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

On June 1st, Baras National High School (BNHS) starts the month by cleaning the classrooms and places within the Main Building of the school or what is called Brigada Eskwela (2026.)
‎
‎The event will last for a week ranging from June 1–5. The Brigada starts with a parade, led by the Surpreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers and by the teachers and other volunteers of the event. After the parade, a speech is held by Ms. Elma Estalilla (Leader of Brigada), volunteers from barangays, and by the Principal Edgar Diñozo who is represented by Ma'am Jessica Lim.

"The Brigada Eskwela is not only cleaning classrooms but it also ensures the safety and security of the school and to build empathy between the students and the classrooms." Said by Dr. Edgar Diñozo, the Principal of BNHS (represented by Mrs. Jessica Lim).

Labor Day is more than just a holiday marked by everyone, it is a powerful reminder of the dignity of work and the enduring struggle for workers rights. Behind every product, service, and innovation are individuals whose labor fuels society’s progress. From factories to offices, farms to digital platforms, workers continue to shape the economy in ways that often go unseen and underappreciated. This day calls attention not only to their contributions but also to the conditions under which they work, urging society to recognize that fair treatment and respect are not privileges, but rights.

We celebrate Labor Day to honor the contributions and sacrifices of workers who help build and sustain society. It recognizes the value of labor in all forms, from manual and industrial work to professional and service based jobs, highlighting how workers drive economic growth and community development. The holiday also has historical roots in the labor movement, when workers fought for fair wages, reasonable working hours, and safer conditions.

School Year 2025 - 2026: Wrapped Up!

Academic Year '25 - '26 has officially ended, bet everyone's relief to know that homeworks, performance tasks, activities, and reporting has finally ended, sadly, so as the moments we shared with our school mates, teachers, and school facilitators.

Today — Thursday, March 26 2026 we congratulate those outstanding persons who really put everything and anything into their works, resulting for them to have a distinctive recognition.

As we appreciate the hard works of learners who achieved a certain grade, we should not forget those who also fought fairly as we know that they also gave out their best on academics.

Every individual deserves to be congratulated and not compared, as long as you did your best, there's always something to be proud of yourself, and if you think your best wasn't enough, remember that the unwillingness to try is worse than any failure, you were brave to fought, to give your best even with doubt and fear.

‎This March, we celebrate the 37th year of declaration of the womens' rights month, showing how every year strengths the power of a women.

‎Though, Women's Month is not only for 'women' it is also a month to show the equality throughout the whole LGBTQIA+ community.

‎And as we celebrate Women's Month, the school concluded some ecstatic activities for our learners as the ESP department takes lead for the events together with ESP teachers.

March 17 - Baras National High School (annex) held an event called "Don't DRAG Me Down!" for marking the end of women's month and the end of the school day. The contestants: Carl Fortuna (Sampaguita), Emmanuel Cornelio (Dahlia), John Lloyd Villasanta(Carnation), Rein Andrei Mendoza (Hibiscus) and John Ezekiel Pesarillo (Jasmine) wore dresses made from different recycled materials and some symbolizes the strength and courage of women.

On 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 12, 2026, the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 10 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 celebrated Junior's Day with an exciting volleyball league that showcased their talent, teamwork, and school spirit. The day was filled with energetic matches and enthusiastic cheers from students and teachers alike, making it a memorable event for everyone involved. After a series of thrilling games, 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻 emerged as the champion with an impressive 5-0 record, demonstrating their dominance on the court.

𝙉𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙖 and 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙖 both finished with a 3-2 record, securing second and third place respectively.

While 𝙈𝙖𝙝𝙤𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙮 and 𝙆𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙤𝙣𝙜 tied with a 2-3 record.

𝙈𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙫𝙚, despite their efforts, finished the league without a win, ending the tournament with a 0-5 record.
