Last Friday, May 15, 2026, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘆 𝗖. 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼, Assistant Professor III of the Department of Information Technology and currently the Chief of the Data Management, AI & Analytics Division under the CLSU Management Information Systems Office (MISO), conducted the initial turnover of the 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗘𝗥𝗗𝗦𝗦) to the 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗣𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗢).

The ERDSS, which served as Dr. Seco’s dissertation project, is now being considered as part of a proposed extension program of Central Luzon State University in collaboration with the Pangasinan Provincial Government through PDRRMO.

The activity also included project implementation planning discussions together with 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘀, PDRRMO Assistant Provincial Director, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗣𝗶𝗮 𝗡. 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀, EOC Unit Head, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝘁, Early Warning Staff.

Among the activities conducted were the turnover of pertinent ERDSS files to PDRRMO, discussions on system implementation plans, and identification of future directions for the project.

This initiative highlights CLSU’s continued commitment to innovation, disaster preparedness, and collaborative technology-driven solutions for public service and community development.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝟱𝟮 𝗢𝗝𝗧𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗢

A total of 52 on-the-job trainees (OJTs) at the Management Information Systems Office (MISO) successfully concluded their internship with a graduation ceremony held on April 20, 2026, at the CLIRDeC Conference Room. Throughout their training, the interns took on various roles, including Systems Developer, QA Associate, Network Engineer, Cybersecurity Assistant, AI Development Assistant, and Data Analyst.

The ceremony recognized the trainees’ valuable contributions to MISO’s ongoing projects. Each intern presented their completed outputs and shared their experiences, along with messages of appreciation to their supervisors and fellow trainees.

Certificates of completion were awarded, followed by messages from MISO division heads, who extended their well wishes as the trainees embark on their professional journeys. MISO continues to strengthen its OJT program to accommodate more trainees and provide a dynamic environment that fosters real-world experience, technical competence, and workplace readiness.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | CLSU introduces Class Scheduling Module under CAIS for streamlined academic planning

The Office of Admissions, in collaboration with the Management Information Systems Office officially introduces the 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺.

The module was developed by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆 as Head Developer, with the support of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶 𝗦. 𝗢𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗕. 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗗.𝗖. 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴, who contributed to the systems design and testing.

This initiative supports the efficient preparation of class schedules for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027. It will be utilized by College Registrars in assigning faculty, rooms, and subjects per section.

Designed to enhance academic operations, the system also helps identify and prevent scheduling conflicts, ensuring better coordination across colleges.

This initiative marks another step in the University’s ongoing efforts to improve digital services and streamline academic processes through innovative information systems.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 | 𝗗𝗠𝗔𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗝𝗧 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀

Today and last April 23, 2026, On-the-Job Trainees of the Data Management, AI and Analytics Division (DMAAD) under the Management Information Systems Office (MISO) conducted their final project presentations before Dr. Khavee Agustus W. Botangen, together with Ms. Gemlyn S. Inocencio, Mr. Iñigo Gabriel M. Balmadrid, Mr. Elghene James O. Maglaque, and Mr. Tristan G. Peneyra.

During the session, Glen Philip F. Pablo presented his AI chatbot project designed for page integration, demonstrating its capability to handle user inquiries and provide automated responses. Meanwhile, Ghieverlyn A. Callo and Jhanice C. Abracia introduced their repository system, which enables file uploads and streamlines the submission process for PNPKI-related requirements.

The SiEL Metrics+ team composed of Rayson Jayson O. Imbag, Kentjustine G. Mercado, Justine Arvie P. Alcaraz, Ronnel P. Baldovino, and Jodilyn A. Sarmiento presented their completed system modules, highlighting developments in data integration, visualization, and analytics under a unified platform.

Robert Austin B. Hernandez also presented his assigned DMAAD project on the Institutional Drive System, featuring a search functionality connected to Google Drive that allows users to efficiently locate files by name and even by content.

The activity concluded with discussions on next steps, including system refinement, potential deployment, and future enhancements based on feedback and evaluation from the panel.

This marks the culmination of the OJT program’s system development initiatives, reflecting DMAAD’s continued commitment to innovation, data-driven solutions, and institutional digital transformation.

Earlier today, April 24, 2026, the Management Information Systems Office (MISO) through the Data Management, AI and Analytics Division (DMAAD) successfully conducted an online seminar-training entitled “AI Prompt Engineering for Effective Organizational Decision-Making.”

The session featured insightful discussions from invited resource speakers 𝗗𝗿. 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗼 and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗷𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗥. 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘀, who shared their expertise on the practical application of AI tools and effective prompt engineering strategies in organizational and administrative contexts.

The activity was attended by GASS office directors, division chiefs, and employees of the Central Luzon State University, with a total of 115 participants, aiming to strengthen data-driven decision-making and enhance digital competencies across university offices.

This initiative reflects MISO-DMAAD’s continued commitment to advancing AI adoption and empowering university personnel through relevant and future-ready technologies.

𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗔𝗜 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 | 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗔𝗗 𝗘𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀

Last April 22, 2026, the Management Information Systems Office (MISO) conducted a meeting with AIMAGINEERS to discuss the OAD Email Analysis Report and the ongoing development of the SielAI system.

During the session, key insights from the analysis of 38,647 OAD emails were presented, identifying priority inquiry categories that will define the chatbot’s initial scope and functionality.

A live demonstration of SielAI in its testing stage was also conducted, showcasing its ability to generate real-time responses and simulate user interactions. The demo highlighted that the core components of the AI system are already in place, with continuous refinements underway through testing and evaluation.

The meeting also served as a platform for gathering feedback from the CLSU team to further enhance system performance, user experience, and integration readiness.

As part of the next steps, a follow-up meeting is being planned with university directors and deans from various offices to gather additional insights and ensure that data utilization aligns with privacy standards and institutional policies.

This initiative marks a significant step forward in the development of SielAI, reinforcing the collaboration between MISO and AIMAGINEERS in advancing AI-driven solutions for student services and digital transformation.

𝗕𝗦𝗜𝗧 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗢 | BSIT alumnus and Senior Software Engineer Mr. Charles Darwin Pobre conducted a seminar on Test-Driven Development (TDD) for the Management Information Systems Office (MISO) on April 7, 2026, at the CLIRDeC Conference Room.

The seminar highlighted industry-standard development practices, featuring live coding demonstrations that showcased effective debugging techniques and structured development workflows. The activity was attended by MISO personnel and interns, providing valuable insights into modern software engineering practices.

As part of its continuous capacity-building efforts, MISO is actively engaging alumni from the industry to share expertise and strengthen competencies in emerging technologies and systems development approaches.

𝗢𝗟𝗦𝗛𝗖𝗢 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗢 𝗢𝗝𝗧 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 | Five (5) On-the-Job Trainees from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College (OLSHCO) have successfully completed their training at the Management Information Systems Office (MISO) of Central Luzon State University.

A brief culminating activity was held on April 8, 2026, at the Conference Room of the CLIRDeC Building to recognize their accomplishments and contributions during their internship. The trainees presented a summary of their OJT experience, highlighting their development projects, completed online courses, seminars attended, and other tasks performed during the internship.

The activity was attended by MISO staff, representatives from OLSHCO, and their fellow trainees, marking the successful completion of their OJT journey.
