The UM Bansalan College successfully held the Stress Management & Character Development Seminar for First-Year College on September 29, 2026, at the UM Bansalan College Gymnasium.
The program kicked off with an energizing Zumba session, bringing movement and positive energy to our first-year students. This was followed by an engaging ice breaker led by the host, Rhina Lindo, which encouraged participation and brought fun and excitement to the students.
The program continued with the Opening Remarks by Erick T. Baloran, PhD, setting the tone for a meaningful and inspiring seminar. We extend our heartfelt thanks for his warm and meaningful message to our first-year students.
The students then gained valuable insights from our Guest Speaker, Sherwel P. Putong, RGC, on stress management, character development, and navigating the challenges of college life. The program concluded with Closing Remarks by Merra Thea O. Guino-o, RPM, RPSY, leaving the students with meaningful reminders to embrace growth, resilience, and positive character.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the UM Bansalan College Peer Facilitators for their time, effort, and dedication in making this seminar possible. From the energetic Zumba session to the ice breaker and seminar proper, your support and active involvement helped make the event a meaningful and memorable experience for our first-year students.
