As they begin their term, the newly elected officers are now preparing the necessary documents for their 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. We look forward to seeing JPSME-UA grow and contribute meaningfully to the Mechanical Engineering community.

All onsite face-to-face classes at all levels are suspended tomorrow, August 24, 2026, following the advisory of the Provincial Government of Abra due to the anticipated rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Students are advised to coordinate with their respective instructors regarding the appropriate Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) and other learning arrangements.

Please remain vigilant, avoid unnecessary travel, and take the necessary precautions, especially in areas vulnerable to flooding and landslides.

Today, we commemorate the life, courage, and legacy of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., whose unwavering love for the Filipino people became a symbol of courage and hope.

A look back at the Control Engineering Skills Enhancement Program for Technicians in Selected Barangays of La Paz, Abra, held on June 27, 2026.

The Jr. PSME was honored to assist in this meaningful extension activity, supporting our faculty and technicians through a hands-on control engineering workshop.

As future mechanical engineers, we believe that engineering is not only about learning, but also about sharing knowledge and serving the community. ⚙️🔧

In accordance with 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟯𝟭 issued by the Office of the President, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented in Abra on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆), unless otherwise directed by the respective Local Chief Executive.

For our ka-esCOElas, this means no regular face-to-face classes tomorrow. Please continue to monitor official announcements from the University for further instructions.

The Future Engineers’ Union (FEU) informs the student body of the issuance of Memorandum Circular No. 129 by the Office of the President, directing the implementation of appropriate alternative work arrangements in areas affected by localized hazards, including Abra, effective immediately.

Students are advised to remain updated through official announcements from the University and concerned local authorities regarding learning modalities and other necessary measures.
