📢 OFFICIAL ADVISORY | CLASS & WORK SUSPENSION 📢

In light of an ongoing bomb threat sent by an unknown individual through a Messenger account, Aklan State University (ASU) hereby announces the suspension of all classes and work across ALL ASU campuses, effective immediately and until further notice.

This decision is made to prioritize the safety and security of our students, faculty, staff, and the entire university community. The University is closely coordinating with concerned authorities to verify the threat and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are strictly implemented.

We strongly advise everyone to:

Remain calm and vigilant

Avoid going to campus until an official clearance is issued

Rely only on official ASU channels for verified updates

UPDATE | Bagyong (Kalmaegi), napanatili ang lakas at patungo ito sa Sulu Sea. Ang mata ng bagyo ay huling namataan sa vicinity ng Patnongon, Antique, ayon sa 5 PM bulletin ng PAGASA.

Possible parin ang pabugso-bugso ng hangin at heavy rainfall kaya ugaliing maging kampante at safe sa loob ng bahay. In terms of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal, unti-unti naring humihina.
