Northern Tabuk District 2 Athletic Meet 2025
What an incredible day it was yesterday, October 14, 2025, at Balong Central School, as we witnessed the vibrant 2025 Northern Tabuk District 2 Athletic Meet! Under the inspiring theme, "One District, One Dream; Unite the Game, Ignite the Flame," 11 schools, encompassing both elementary and secondary levels, came together for a spectacular display of athletic sportmanship and camaraderie.
The event commenced with heartfelt welcome remarks from our dedicated Balong CS PTA President Mr. Randy Marquez, setting a positive tone for the day.
Athletes then received an encouraging message from the PSDS Sir Ferdinand A. Malagyab, fueling their competitive spirit.
The solemn Oath of Amateurism was led by Mr. John Wayne Baruzo, reinforcing the values of fair play and integrity.
The District Sports Coordinator, Sir Raul V. Dalilis led the Oath of Coaches and Officiating Officials, ensuring everyone was aligned with the rules and spirit of the competition, followed by essential instructions.
It was truly inspiring to see young athletes from both levels compete with such passion and sportsmanship. This meet wasn't just about winning; it was about building character, fostering teamwork, and strengthening the bonds within our district.
