By order of University President Dr. Nelson P. Cabral and pursuant to the directive of the City Government of Zamboanga suspending face-to-face classes at all levels due to the excessive heat index, please be guided accordingly:

ZPPSU Main Campus โ€” All face-to-face classes are cancelled and will shift to online or asynchronous mode.
EPDU Campuses โ€” May likewise shift to asynchronous classes, subject to the official advisories of their respective LGUs.
All student activities are hereby cancelled and will be rescheduled to a later date.

Mark the first week of classes for BSIT-Mechatronics Technology, First Semester, Academic Year 2026โ€“2027, was successfully completed with a positive and productive start. Students were introduced to their courses, instructors, academic expectations, laboratory facilities, and the importance of Mechatronics Technology in modern industry. The activities also promoted teamwork, discipline, professionalism, and active participation.

Overall, the first week marked a promising beginning for the academic year. The enthusiasm and participation of the students reflected their readiness to learn and develop the technical competencies required in the field of mechatronics. As the semester progresses, the program will continue to strengthen studentsโ€™ knowledge, skills, creativity, and professional values in preparation for successful careers in automation, robotics, industrial electronics, and advanced manufacturing.
