📣 ADVISORY: NU Baliwag Flexible Learning Schedule

Please be informed that NU Baliwag will implement a Flexible Learning (NU Flex) setup for the upcoming weeks of April to May 2026.

This adjustment is in line with the directive of the Commission on Higher Education under MOC No. 117, s. 2026, supporting the implementation of flexible learning during the National Energy Emergency.

Classes will be conducted through a combination of onsite and remote synchronous learning, ensuring the continuous delivery of quality education while prioritizing the health, safety, and convenience of our Nationalians amid rising temperatures and transportation concerns.

Further guidelines and class-specific instructions will be provided by your respective Program Chairs and faculty members.

Today, we commemorate 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 (Day of Valor), a solemn reminder of the courage and sacrifice of our Filipino heroes who fought bravely during World War II. As we honor their legacy, may we be inspired to embody the same resilience, patriotism, and strength in facing our own battles, and to uphold the freedom they fought so hard to protect. 🇵🇭✨

On April 9, 1942, thousands of Filipino and American soldiers surrendered in Bataan after months of resisting Japanese forces, an event that marked the beginning of the infamous Bataan Death March, where many endured extreme suffering and loss along the way. Despite defeat, their bravery and sacrifice became a powerful symbol of heroism, which is why this day is remembered as Araw ng Kagitingan.
