EILJOHN DERICK MANIKAN

When young people are given opportunities to create, express, and lead, their talents can become powerful tools for community development.

We are honored to introduce Eiljohn Derick Manikan, Ambassador of Balasan, who will share The Luminare Initiative, an advocacy centered on arts, culture, creativity, and youth leadership.

His advocacy seeks to address the limited opportunities available to geographically isolated and underserved youth by bringing arts and cultural learning closer to communities through workshops, creative training, cultural activities, and leadership development.

At the Advocacy MasterClass, Eiljohn Derick will share how his passion for arts and culture developed into a community advocacy and how creative opportunities can empower young people to discover their potential and become active contributors to their communities.
