This call for applications is aligned with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Revised Qualification Standards, the Department of Education's recruitment policies, and relevant DepEd issuances, including DepEd Order No. 07, s. 2023 (Guidelines on Recruitment, Selection, and Appointment in the Department of Education), DepEd Order No. 021, s. 2024 (Amendments to DepEd Order No. 07, s. 2023) and DepEd Order No. 020, s. 2024.

With profound sadness, the Department of Education Schools Division Office of Bataan joins the Orani District community in mourning the passing of 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐀. 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐬𝐨𝐧, Teacher III of Orani North Elementary School.

Sir Jason dedicated his life to the noble profession of teaching, touching the hearts and minds of countless learners through his commitment, compassion, and unwavering service. His contributions to education and his dedication to shaping young lives will always be remembered and cherished by his colleagues, students, and the entire DepEd family.

As we grieve this tremendous loss, we extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family, loved ones, friends, and the Orani North Elementary School community. May they find comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time.

May the memories of his kindness, dedication, and service continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.

Rest in peace, Sir Jason. Your legacy in education will live on.

WORK ARRANGEMENTS ON JUNE 9–10, 2026 IN CELEBRATION OF THE 439TH ABUCAY DAY

The Schools Division Office of Bataan informs all DepEd officials, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and all concerned of the work arrangements in the Municipality of Abucay in celebration of its 439th Founding Anniversary (Abucay Day).

📌 June 9, 2026
A half-day work arrangement shall be observed in the offices of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Abucay, its attached national government agencies, DepEd offices, and other concerned participants of the “Abukalye” Sayaw sa Kalye celebration.

📌 June 10, 2026
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 27, s. 2026, this date is declared a Special Non-Working Holiday in the Municipality of Abucay in celebration of its 439th Founding Anniversary.

This June, the Philippines marks Judiciary Month, celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Supreme Court.

Declared under Presidential Proclamation No. 1265, s. 2026, the observance calls on government agencies, local government units, the private sector, and civil society to support and partake in the commemoration.

Established on June 11, 1901 through Act No. 136 of the Philippine Commission, the Supreme Court has stood as a pillar of justice—first led by Chief Justice Cayetano Arellano.

In line with this milestone year, the Court unveils a series of activities under the theme: “SC: 125 Years of Tradition and Innovation.”

𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝 𝐒𝐃𝐎 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐎𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤 𝐄𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

On June 4, 2026, the Department of Education Schools Division Office of Bataan conducted the 2026 Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) Inter-Agency Meeting at Lou-is Resort and Restaurant, Balanga City, Bataan, gathering representatives from partner government agencies, local government units, utility providers, and other key stakeholders in preparation for the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027 on June 8, 2026.

The meeting served as a platform to strengthen collaboration and coordination among agencies to ensure a smooth, safe, and orderly school opening. Discussions focused on school readiness, learner safety and security, traffic and transportation management, health and emergency response services, disaster preparedness, communication systems, and other essential support mechanisms that are vital to the successful reopening of schools.

Aligned with the Department of Education's Oplan Balik Eskwela Program, the initiative aimed to address concerns and challenges that may arise during the opening of classes through a whole-of-government approach and active stakeholder engagement. Through strengthened partnerships and shared commitment, participating agencies reaffirmed their support for quality and accessible education for all Bataeño learners.

DepEd SDO Bataan extends its gratitude to all partner agencies and stakeholders for their continued cooperation and dedication in ensuring that schools are ready to welcome learners for another productive and meaningful academic year.

Together, let us make School Year 2026–2027 a safe, inclusive, and successful learning journey for every learner.
