||𝐁𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒||


BPSU takes great pride in sharing the official results of the recent BPSU College Admission Test (BPSU-CAT) for A.Y. 2026–2027. Out of 10,446 hopeful applicants across all campuses, 7,747 took the entrance examinations. In the end, an impressive 6,480 applicants passed the test and successfully qualified to join the BPSU community.

This year’s batch showcases an incredible blend of diversity, community focus, and academic drive. Staying deeply rooted in our mission to uplift our local province, an overwhelming 94.58% of our test-takers are proud residents of Bataan, while 420 driven individuals chose to cross provincial borders to pursue quality education with us. This vibrant new student body also highlights strong demographic diversity, with female qualifiers making up 57.60% of the population alongside 42.40% male qualifiers.

Furthermore, these statistics heavily reinforce BPSU's core commitment to accessible free higher education, with a significant majority of 6,281 examinees coming from households within the below-₱120,000 socio-economic bracket, proving that the university remains a vital stepping stone for growth and opportunity in the region.

In view of the continuous inclement weather brought about by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), enhanced by Typhoon Bavi, and in the interest of the safety and well-being of the BPSU community, the University announces the following arrangements for Monday, July 13, 2026:

All undergraduate classes across all BPSU campuses shall shift to asynchronous online learning.

Classes under the College of Law and College of Medicine shall shift to synchronous online learning.

University offices shall implement a Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement. Online transactions shall remain available, while a skeletal workforce shall be maintained to ensure the continuous delivery of essential frontline services.

Faculty members are encouraged to provide students with reasonable flexibility and ample time to accomplish learning activities, assessments, and other academic requirements, taking into consideration possible disruptions in transportation, internet connectivity, and power supply.

The BPSU Main Campus shall remain open and available to accommodate individuals and families who may require temporary shelter or evacuation due to the prevailing weather conditions.

Students, faculty members, employees, and the public are advised to monitor official BPSU communication channels for further announcements.

After months of extensive school visitations, admissions promotions, on-site application and testing activities, and career orientation programs, BPSU, through its University Admission and Testing Center (UATC), successfully concluded its 2026 college admission campaign, marking another milestone in its commitment to expanding access to quality higher education. The campaign's successful completion was recognized during a courtesy visit by the UATC team, led by Director Dr. Ariel F. Banting, to University President Dr. Ruby B. Santos-Matibag on July 1, 2026, where the team's accomplishments and collaborative efforts were presented.

Driven by an intensive and student-centered admissions campaign, BPSU reached thousands of aspiring college students through strategic information drives, career guidance sessions, and onsite admission services, resulting in 10,446 college applicants and 7,747 examinees for the 2026 admission cycle. Of these, 6,480 students successfully qualified for admission, including those admitted through program reconsideration, comprising 2,976 male and 3,504 female qualifiers, for an impressive 94.95% qualification rate.

Despite the various challenges encountered throughout the admission period, the University Admission and Testing Center remained committed to ensuring efficient, accessible, and responsive admission services. The campaign's success reflects BPSU's commitment to expanding access to quality higher education and empowering aspiring learners across Bataan and neighboring provinces through inclusive, transformative educational opportunities.

The BPSU OUR emailed the last batch of reconsidered applicants for confirmation of their enrollment.

Whether you are to enroll or not, everyone is encouraged to fill out the form. Be reminded that you are only allowed to answer the confirmation form ONCE and editing after submission is unabled. There is no need to go in a hurry in answering the form. Accurate answers must be entered to avoid misinformation that may lead to disqualification for enrollment.

Choose the campus and program you are reconsidered. Choosing another program means forfeiture of slot in the program you are reconsidered, and the response will not be recorded.

Failure to answer the confirmation on or before Monday, 08 June 2026 means forfeiture of slot for the program. Expect another email with the subject Acknowledgement of Enrollment Confirtmation and Pre-registration on Tuesday for those who confirmed enrollment in the campus and program they are reconsidered.

All employees are expected to report onsite during these hours.
