Good day, NSTP students of Balanga Campus!

This is to officially inform everyone that the NSTP Online Examination will be conducted tomorrow (at 9:00 am with your respective instructors). All students are advised to prepare in advance and ensure that they are ready for the examination.

Please make sure that you have a stable internet connection, a fully charged device, and access to the required online platform that will be used for the exam. Students are also reminded to review their lessons and be present on time to avoid any inconvenience or technical difficulties.

The online examination is an important requirement for the course as it aims to evaluate your knowledge, understanding, and learning gained throughout the NSTP program. We encourage everyone to answer the examination honestly and responsibly, and to carefully follow the instructions that will be provided by your instructor.

||𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄||

Last March 07, 2026, NSTP students successfully participated in a 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 held at the Bataan Youth Center. This activity aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and practical skills in fire prevention, safety, and proper response during fire emergencies.

The training was conducted by our dedicated speakers from 𝐁𝐅𝐏 – 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, who shared their expertise and demonstrated effective fire management techniques. Through this activity, participants gained valuable insights on how to stay prepared and respond responsibly in times of fire-related incidents.

A big thank you to the 𝐁𝐅𝐏 – 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 for guiding and empowering our NSTP students to become more aware, responsible, and safety-ready members of the community.

Igniting Awareness: Fire Management and Suppression Training for NSTP Students

In line with the University’s continuing commitment to promote civic responsibility and preparedness among the youth, an Onsite Lecture on Fire Management and Suppression Training will be conducted for NSTP students of Bataan Peninsula State University – Balanga Campus on March 7, 2026 (Saturday) at the BPSU Youth Center (BYC).

The activity will be facilitated by the Bureau of Fire Protection – Balanga City Fire Station, providing valuable insights on fire safety, prevention, and appropriate response during fire-related emergencies. Through this initiative, students will gain meaningful knowledge that supports the development of responsible, safety-conscious members of the community. This activity forms part of the University’s efforts to strengthen awareness and preparedness in addressing potential hazards and emergencies.

||𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄||

Last Saturday, February 28, 2026, the NSTP students of the Balanga Campus gathered at the Bataan Youth Center (BYC) for an engaging and actual 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, led by our dedicated speaker from the PDRRMO. The session emphasized the importance of preparedness, proper response, and coordinated action during earthquake emergencies. Students were guided through practical demonstrations and simulations that strengthened their awareness and readiness in times of disaster.

Through this meaningful learning experience, participants developed a deeper understanding of safety protocols, teamwork, and the value of staying calm under pressure. We were reminded that disaster preparedness is not just about knowing what to do, it is about being ready to act, protect lives, and help build a more resilient community.

||𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄||

The National Service Training Program (NSTP) of Balanga Campus will be conducting an Earthquake Drill Training and Simulation on February 28, 2026 at the Bataan Youth Center (BYC), in coordination with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

This activity aims to strengthen the participants’ awareness, preparedness, and practical response skills in the event of an earthquake. The simulation will focus on proper safety measures, evacuation procedures, and appropriate actions to take before, during, and after an earthquake incident.

Through guided orientations, live demonstrations, and a structured drill exercise facilitated by the PDRRMO, participants will gain hands-on experience in executing safety protocols such as the “Drop, Cover, and Hold” technique and organized evacuation. This initiative also seeks to cultivate disciplined, alert, and responsible individuals who can actively contribute to community safety and resilience during seismic emergencies.

Due to the scheduled NGCP power interruption in Bataan, all classes will shift to asynchronous mode. This includes the NSTP training scheduled for tomorrow, February 21, 2026 (Saturday). This is in accordance with University Memorandum 2026.0316.

||𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏-𝐁𝐂 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄||

𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

The NSTP Office of Bataan Peninsula State University – Balanga Campus successfully conducted a coordination meeting on February 18, 2026 with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) to finalize preparations for the upcoming Earthquake Drill and Disaster Preparedness Simulation.

During the meeting, both offices agreed to reschedule the earthquake drill to February 28, 2026 (afternoon session) following the morning Bloodletting Activity in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross – Bataan Chapter. The activity aims to strengthen students’ emergency response skills, promote campus safety awareness, and ensure readiness in times of disaster.

Students are advised to stay tuned for official announcements from the NSTP Office and their respective instructors regarding participation guidelines, assignments for responders and victims, and other important reminders.

Last Saturday, February 14, 2026, the CWST and LTS trainees of the National Service Training Program gathered for an insightful session on 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, led by our inspiring speaker, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧. The discussion highlighted the importance of understanding gender roles, promoting equality, and recognizing unconscious biases that affect how we treat others in our communities.

Through this meaningful learning experience, trainees gained a deeper appreciation of respect, inclusivity, and empathy. We were reminded that gender sensitivity is not just awareness, it is practicing fairness, challenging stereotypes, and fostering safe spaces where everyone feels valued and heard.
