🌏🧹 NSTP-BC INTERNATIONAL INLAND CLEANUP DAY 2026
In participation in the International Coastal Cleanup 2026

📅 Saturday, September 19, 2026
📍 BPSU–Balanga Campus

The NSTP–Balanga Campus (NSTP-BC) will participate in this year's International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) 2026.

Since our 1st-year NSTP students are not permitted to conduct cleanup activities in coastal areas, our participation will be carried out through an Inland Cleanup, with activities conducted inside the BPSU–Balanga Campus under the supervision of your respective NSTP trainers.

🧹 WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

All NSTP students are expected to participate in the cleanup of their designated areas and follow the instructions of their NSTP trainer.

Please remember that this is not simply a regular cleanup activity. The activity is part of a documented environmental initiative. The trash collected will be categorized and counted as part of the official documentation.

For example, if one student collects:

* 3 plastic bottles
* 2 pieces of plastic wrappers
* 1 aluminum can

these items will be recorded according to their respective categories. The collected data from the students in each section will then be consolidated in the required Coordinator Trash Data Form.

📋 Each section will have its own data form. Your NSTP trainer may designate one student per section to assist in accomplishing the form, but the designated student must work under the close supervision of the NSTP trainer.

🎤📸 Our 12 NSTP-BC Magazine volunteers will also be covering the activity and conducting interviews with selected participants as part of the event documentation.

🗺️ DESIGNATED CLEANUP AREAS

Please proceed only to the area assigned to your section and follow your NSTP trainer's instructions.

The cleanup areas include:

Academic Building
• 1st and 2nd Floors – classrooms and surrounding areas
• 3rd and 4th Floors – classrooms and surrounding areas

Old COEd Building
• Building and back area, except occupied classrooms

Administration Building
• Building and front areas, including the Cashier Office area

Bataan Youth Center (BYC)
• Inside BYC and front parking area

Library and Multimedia Area
• Front of the Library and Multimedia, including the parking area up to the trees

CSBS Building
• Building area, including the front area

New COEd Building
• Building area, including the Student Canteen and Student Center

Academic Building Parking Area
• Parking area and pathway extending toward the old Canteen

♻️ BRING YOUR OWN CLEANUP MATERIALS

Students are expected to bring their own:

🧤 Cleaning materials
🗑️ Trash bags
👕 Appropriate clothing for the activity
💧 Drinking water

Please observe proper waste segregation and follow the safety instructions of your NSTP trainer throughout the activity.

Most importantly, do not leave your designated area without permission from your trainer. Work together with your classmates, keep the campus safe, and make sure that the activity is properly documented.

Our participation may take place inland, but the purpose remains the same: to promote environmental awareness, responsible waste management, and active youth participation in protecting our environment.

Despite the prevailing weather conditions, the NSTP Online Midterm Examination will push through on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 8:00 AM onwards via Synchronous Online Mode.

All officially enrolled NSTP students are required to take the Online Midterm Examination under their respective assigned NSTP Trainers. The examination will last for 1 hour and 30 minutes only. Kindly wait for your respective NSTP Trainer for further instructions and examination details.

✅ Review all the topics included in the examination coverage, as well as the mini reviewer prepared by the NSTP-BC Office, which will be uploaded to your respective Google Classrooms by your NSTP Trainer.
✅ Ensure that your device is fully charged and working properly before the examination.
✅ Prepare a reliable internet connection and have mobile data available as a backup in case of a power interruption or loss of internet connection.
✅ Join the online examination through the platform or link provided by your respective NSTP Trainer and follow all instructions accordingly.
✅ Observe proper academic integrity throughout the examination.

In view of the prevailing weather conditions and the issued rainfall warning in the Province of Bataan, and with the safety and well-being of the entire BPSU community as a primary consideration, the University shall implement the following arrangements tomorrow, September 9, until Saturday, September 12, 2026:

-All classes (UNDERGRADUATE, COLLEGE OF MEDICINE, COLLEGE OF LAW, GRADUATE SCHOOL) On-the-Job Training (OJT), clinical duties, and hospital duties shall be conducted through synchronous online mode. Students who may experience difficulties in participating due to weather-related conditions may be excused, provided that they promptly inform their respective instructors.

-SCHEDULED ENROLLMENT FOR GRADUATE SCHOOL shall proceed with the concerned office to report onsite.

-University personnel shall continue reporting for onsite duty and maintain the regular provision of essential university services and operations.

The University will continue to closely monitor the prevailing weather conditions and remain guided by official announcements and advisories from concerned government authorities.

Should the National Government issue any succeeding directive concerning the suspension of classes or work, such directive shall take precedence over this University Advisory.

Please be informed that the NSTP Online Midterm Examination scheduled for tomorrow, September 5, 2026, will not push through. The examination will be rescheduled, and students are advised to wait for the official announcement regarding the new examination schedule. Instead of the Midterm Examination, an Asynchronous Class on Dimensions of Development: Mental Health will be conducted.

All officially enrolled NSTP students are expected to participate in the asynchronous class and follow the instructions that will be provided by their respective NSTP Trainers. Kindly take note of this important update and stay tuned for further announcements regarding the rescheduled Midterm Examination.
