Health Advisory: Preparing for ROTC Exercise every Saturday for new Cadets and Officers

In preparation for the scheduled ROTC exercise every Saturday from 1:00PM to 5:00PM, for new cadets and officers, the Campus Clinic would like to remind of important health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and successful training.

A. Before the Exercise
-Get 7-8 hours of sleep
-Eat lunch an hour before
-Hydrate
-Wear proper prescribed and comfortable uniform
B. What to bring
- 1L water bottle
-Towel+extra shirt
-Cap+sunscreen
-Snack ( bread,banana or candies)
-Basic first Aid: band-aid, pain reliever
C. During the Exercise
-Warm up properly to avoid cramps
-Pace yourself and don't push beyond limits
-Report immediately if you feel dizzy, nauseous or unwell
-a campus nurse will be readily available on site to provide immediate medical assistance

DENTAL DAY ACTIVITY
NORSU BAIS CAMPUS CLINIC
JULY 15,2026 /Campus Clinic 1

The NORSU Bais Campus Clinic successfully conducted a Dental Day Activity on July 15,2026 at Campus Clinic 1. A total of 89 clients (students, faculty and staff) were served, consisting of 86 tooth extractions and 3 dental consultations.

Heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed dentists Dr Jean Paul Alvarico , Dr. Odessa May Alvarico and Dr. Ruvilyn Joy Batirzal (NORSU Main Campus Dentist) , for their service and care for our campus community.

All clients also received freebies of toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash to encourage good oral health practices.

Special thanks to Dr. Dennis R. Chiu ( Campus Director) and the whole NORSU Bais Community for the support and participation thus making this activity a success.

The event was well-received and achieved its objective of delivering accessible dental care and health education to the whole NORSU Bais Campus community.

Thank you for making oral health a priority!

📣CAMPUS HEALTH ALERT: SORE EYES ( CONJUNCTIVITIS) NOTICE📣

We are seeing sore eyes cases on both campuses 1 & 2. It is highly contagious, but highly preventable!

👀Symptoms: redness, itching, watery discharges or crusty eyelids.
🪬Prevention Quick Tips:
✔️Wash your hands Frequently.
✔️Avoid touchinh your face or rubbing eyes.
✔️Do not share belongings: towels,pens, make up etc.

🎯If you feel symptoms: Please stay home, avoid classes/work and consult the campus clinic or nearest health facilities for guidance.
