Since its commencement, Project MILAN has been serving its genuine purpose, which is to promote and maximize Media and Information Literacy (MIL). After launching its humble beginnings at Saint Louis University (SLU), Project MILAN is aiming for another milestone.

Meet the three hardworking departments that make up DigiQuill!

The Research Team is responsible for developing the module materials and for researching and validating all information in them. They are the admirable writers of the group!

Creativity is one of DigiQuill’s strengths, and the Creatives Team is always ready to produce visually appealing materials while ensuring that knowledge is effectively shared.

There is no successful group without people who are constantly on the go to organize things—and the Logistics Team is proof of that, with their resourcefulness and dedication.

Altogether, the Research, Creatives, and Logistics departments aim to deliver quality and educational learning materials—all created in pursuit of knowledge.

Information travels through numerous platforms and individuals, just like in the telephone game. Details can get mixed up, misunderstood, or entirely altered with each stage.

This is what exactly continues to happen in the Philippines. As word spreads about price increases, corruption scandals, misappropriation of public funds, and other issues; every “pass” through gossip, group conversations, and social media adds fresh variations—and facts get unclear. Before we know it, the true problem is hidden under false information because opinions start to outweigh the facts. People are not just confused by misinformation as it deceives communities, accountability, and increases conflict. Truth is protected by accuracy. Verification prevents false information. Sharing responsibly makes our community stronger.
