As May comes to an end and another semester closes, we pause to look back on every challenge, prayer, lesson, and breakthrough that shaped us throughout the journey.

There were exhausting days, overwhelming nights, and moments when giving up felt easier, yet through God’s grace, we made it through.

“𝐇𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11

To every student pharmacist, trust that your hard work, sacrifices, and silent battles are part of a greater purpose being prepared in God’s perfect timing.

Rest, reflect, and carry forward the strength this semester has built within you.

𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒔𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒔: 𝑨 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚

On this day of gratitude, the Louisian community gathered to honor the Thanksgiving Mass, centered on recognizing SONAHBS excellence, purpose, and mission. Father Sales reminded us of a profound truth: 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙚'𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚. This community embodies that calling. Every Louisian matters. Whether we instill knowledge where it's needed, coordinate efforts, laugh through challenges, or cry alongside those we serve, we do it together. Our strength isn't found in awards sought, but in the purpose and dream God has planted within our hearts.

We give back to our people and our mission because we are called to do so. The blessings bestowed upon our school remind us that talents and dreams converge here, creating fertile ground for meaningful service. Every student, every contributor, every prayer has shaped this journey.

As we move forward, may everything we do remain centered on God's mission. Let our gratitude translate into action, our recognition into renewed commitment, and our community into a beacon of hope for those we serve.

𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝔸 𝕊𝕡𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕓𝕚𝕟𝕕𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕄𝕖𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕪

On the 3rd day of May, 2026, a journey embarked as the Department of Pharmacy in Saint Louis University held an event at the SLU Navy Base where pharmacy students from different year levels gathered, had fun, and indulged in the magical world of Hogwarts.

Before the enjoyment started, Sir Leonard Guinguino made sure that every student was already in their own designated houses: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. He also assigned faculty members who guided each house.

Sir Leonard Guinguino and Sir Joshue Domingo were assigned to Gryffindor, Ma’am Crystal Espada and Ma’am Mary Christine Magalong to Ravenclaw, Sir Mark Bien Herrero to Hufflepuff, and Sir Kristian Emil Sison and Ma’am Ezra Lee Ngatiyon to Slytherin.

Each house let everyone hear their cheers, marking the start of the contest proper. Games were also conducted, ensuring that enjoyment continued to linger around the campus.

After the tiring but amusing games, it was time for everyone to rest and regain their energy because when the afternoon struck, the stage lit up for the 𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐠! 🎭 This competition showcase made every student witness a lot of talent, including singing, dancing, and more.

To ensure that every judgment was conducted fairly, a board of distinguished judges was introduced whose integrity and experience maintained the credibility of the said event. The board of judges consisted of 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 𝐌. 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧, 𝐑𝐏𝐡, 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐄𝐳𝐫𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐞 𝐍𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐲𝐨𝐧, 𝐑𝐏𝐡, 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥 𝐃. 𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐑𝐏𝐡, 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐋𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐁. 𝐂𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨, 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀. 𝐁𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠, and 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐁. 𝐋𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐨, 𝐑𝐏𝐡.

Just like in every competition, there was always someone who shone the most. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐚𝐝 was the first placer, 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐨 was the second placer, and 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐆𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐳 was the third placer.

After the announcement of winners in the PharmaBukambibig, the achievements of the different houses were also awarded. The 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐫 went to 𝐑𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐰, the award for 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 was given to 𝐆𝐫𝐲𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫, and the award for 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 was given to 𝐇𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐟𝐟.

As the enchanting event came to an end, 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐱 𝐃𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐰𝐞, Department Head of the Department of Pharmacy, gave his closing remarks. He congratulated all the people involved in the astonishing event for a remarkable and successful celebration. He also acknowledged all the students who participated in the said event.
