Announcement on the SHS Voucher Program Application
The application for the SHS Voucher Program for incoming Grade 11 students in SY 2026-2027 will open soon.
Please be informed that the Department of Education, through Department Order No. 11, s. 2026, instituted some changes on the eligibility of applicants starting SY 26-27. You may access the full text of DO 11 through this link: https://www.deped.gov.ph/wp.../uploads/DO_s2026_011r.pdf.
In preparation for the opening of the online application, the PEAC is issuing preliminary information to guide learners and parents as to who are eligible, what are the categories of applicants, where to apply based on the category, how to apply through Online Voucher Application Portal (OVAP), and what documents need to be submitted (Step 5).
We shall announce the opening of the application via OVAP as soon as DepEd releases the application timeline.

The DO establishes the ​standard process for the recognition of SHS programs, including eligibility criteria, mandatory documentary requirements, and validation procedures.

DepEd has issued DepEd Memorandum No. 024, s. 2026 - Clarifying the Flexibility of Private Schools to Adopt Learning and Training Delivery Modalities Amid the National Energy Emergency.

This clarifies that private schools may implement either five (5) days of in-person classes or blended learning during the National Energy Emergency, subject to compliance with DepEd’s key stage–specific model and reporting requirements.

The Department of Education will issue guidelines on the Senior High School Voucher Application. Schools are advised to wait for the official announcement.

The Department of Education (DepEd) is set to release the policies and guidelines on the Budget of Work for the K–12 Curriculum within the first two weeks of April 2026, which aims to align instructional plans with the three-term school calendar.
To provide pedagogical and administrative support to private schools, the PEAC will align its In-Service Training (INSET) program for K–12 teachers with the implementation of the three-term school calendar this coming summer.

The Department of Education (DepEd) is set to release the policies and guidelines on the Budget of Work for the K–12 Curriculum within the first two weeks of April 2026, which aims to align instructional plans with the three-term school calendar.

In this episode of LIDER, Dr. Karol Mark Yee, Executive Director of EDCOM 2, will share key highlights and insights from the final report of EDCOM 2, and its implications for private schools, educators, and policy development.

The 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀 or 𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗥 is an initiative of PEAC aimed at highlighting topics and encouraging discussions among teachers and school leaders particularly in private educational institutions on how schools can better understand their purpose in responding to the changing times and how they can educate for social transformation in the 21st century.

PEAC has been conducting the LIDER webinar series since 2020.
