WEEK 5 ARTS: UNDER THE SEA BEAUTY
Diorama Activity: "Under the Sea Beauty" – Blue Themed Underwater World
(No Glitter or Toys)

Objective:

PARENTS will prepare the juice box as the base, using only blue shades for the backdrop. KIDS will then design and create a beautiful underwater world by cutting out and arranging various sea creatures and underwater elements provided to them.

✓ Materials Needed:

1 ready-made juice box (prepared by parents)

Blue construction paper or various shades of blue paper

Printed sea animal cut-outs (to be printed and sent to parents; to be cut out by the kids, not the parents)

✓ Instructions for Parents (Preparing the Box):

1. Prepare the Juice Box Base:

Open the juice box and carefully flatten it to create a sturdy backdrop for the diorama.

Trim off the top portion of the box to create an open space for the kids to design their scene.

Ensure the juice box is fully flattened and set it aside, ready for the kids to decorate.

2. Printed Materials:

The printed cut-out materials, which include sea animals and other underwater elements, will be sent to you.
Please make sure the kids will cut out and use these materials in their diorama (this will not require parent involvement except for preparing the juice box).

✓ Performance Details:

This diorama will be part of the students' ARTS performance next week, where they will be assessed on their creativity and ex*****on of the "Under the Sea" theme. The activity will be recorded and graded out of 30 points.
